Barkwhisker nodded and looked around as he waited for Squirrelfoot to pick up her half of the squirrels.

Nightfur looked at Mintshine."Can I tell you something?"

Mintshine smiled and nodded "Of course, anything." She told Nightfur

Squirrelfoot picked up her pray and started walking back to camp.

"I kinda...love you."Nightfur conffesed nervously

Mintshine stared at Nightfur in surprise for a few heartbeats, unsure of what to say to him. Then her gaze softened and she began to purr. "I love you too." She told him then pressed close to him and licked his cheek lovingly.

Barkwhisker turned and began following Squirrelfoot back to camp.

"Lier she didn't get snappy, she was acting like you" Firekit growled at Snaketail "She did what you have done, if you want her to feel better stop being a mouse brain cat and prove her and yourself wrong"

When Squirrelfoot walked into camp she set the squirrels in the pile.
