Flamespots walked towards the sound of water until she at last found the source. Her mouth dropped open. "It's huge.." she whispered. The river, indeed was huge. It had already been a big river when leaf-bare had ended, and all the melted snow and ice had drained straight into it. It was now in full new-leaf flood.

Flamespots panicked. This was definitely not in her territory. How far had she come? She didn't even know what direction she came from.

Fallenleaf smiled, intwining their tails. "Tell me Orangetail, what are you gonna do?" She asked curiously.

" I dunno. I mean, technically I didn't break the warrior code, I just kept a secret." he said, shrugging.

[.siren]

Fallenleaf nodded, purring she licked his chest. Then sighed sitting down, her eyes up at the stars, "Have you ever wonder what its like, to be up there in the stars?"

Flamespots shook her head, confused. Night was falling. She could've been back at camp by now. Oh, why had she chased that rabbit so far? She wondered if any of her clan-mates missed her. She missed Wildstream, and Duskshadow. She wondered if Littlepaw was better yet. Oh, what she would give to see any of her clan-mates, even irritating Orangetail.

Flamespots shook away the thoughts. Night was falling, and fast. Tomorrow she would look for her clan. She headed back to where she left the rabbit, and tore off a piece. Suddenly she froze. A reddish-brown muzzle poked out of a bush. It was closely followed by the rest of its lean body. It wasn't fully grown, Flamespots decided. And this was her rabbit. She crouched down and growled. Then, she leaped at the fox, scoring her claws down its' flank. The fox wheeled around and snapped at her, missing her tail by a whisker. She turned and leaped as high as she could, landing on the fox's back. Digging her hind claws deep into the reddish fur, she started swiping at the fox's ears and eyes with her front paws. The fox rolled onto it's back, taking her with. It's fur filled her mouth and nose, choking her. She took a mouthful of the fox's flesh and bit down. Hard. The fox pulled away and lunged at her. This time it made contact with her ear. She screeched and tore her ear away, lashing at the fox's eyes. The fox let out a screech and raced away. She ate the rest of rabbit quickly, and found a place under a bush to sleep for the night.

Flamespots woke up. Her ear hurt. She got up and stretched. I need to get back to camp and find a medicine cat, she thought. Maybe I can follow my scent trail back home.
