Shadow had been moved to an infirmary bed. Her body was currently incapable of moving, but her mind was racing. She could tell there was a fire somewhere on board the airship, and the animals were urging her to flee, but she couldn't move. Her eyes flickered beneath her lids. She emitted a high pitched whine, long and loud, frustrated and afraid. The Phoenix within her was edgy as well, this fire was unnatural to it. Her whine began an ear splitting howl.

The sound reached Rochelle's ears and she quickly covered them growling. "Alright!" She shouted the flames slowly beginning to diminish but she was in pain form the sound. She fell to her knees and just kneeled there shaking. Her emotions were scrambled into an absolute mess right now. "Why did he have to find out..." She breathed out trying to calm herself.

Boone frowned. "I have to buy you something,"

Cynders was flying around outside, her little white wings made of magic fluttered every once and a while, and the dark blue and black exceed smiled.

"No! Don't buy me anything! I don't want you to buy me a thing!" she yelled awfully loud.

Dreary woke up alone, but he knew Harken was on board the ship. He sighed, and poofed his wings out, and flew out a window, the sky was growing lighter. He flew for a while, wishing he had somebody to talk to.

Harken heard the howling and growled. Shadow was unprotected now. Time to get his revenge. His face dark, he strode off on the path to the infirmary, his intentions dark.

Cynders soon saw another Exceed which she recognized as Dreary and flew up to him with a smile on her face. "Hey Dreary!" says the hyper exceed happily.

Jay walked for so long, the sun was coming up. She sighed, knowing she should get back to Alix before he woke up. She slowly halted and turned towards the way she'd come, wishing that whatever it was that had chased away the nightmare had come back. She felt so bad for disturbing Alix's rest and then snapping at him. She stopped for a second, thinking deeply about something. Slowly, as she started walking again, the pieces clicked. "He- he---!" Jay huffed, realizing now Alix had slept next to her. And that he had been the reason her nightmare went away. She stopped, and put a hand over her heart, feeling choked up.

Dreary stopped. It was the Exceed from before. "H-hello," he said nervously, his dark black-gray ears twitching slightly.

"How're you?" she asked the other exceed, waving her dark blue tail happily.

"Um, okay," Dreary said, his black draconic wings hovering. "How about you?"
