Flamespots hissed, but she knew it was pointless. Dawn was coming, and there would be a crowd of warriors soon. She resisted the urge to claw the smug expression off his face, and thrust him aside, she strode outside camp.
(Can I follow their scent trail? thought it might be good to ask, in case you'd prefer it to be a secret just between Wolfcry and Orangetail.)
