"Because I wanted to know where you went last night!" she hissed. "I was pretty sure I wasn't going to get any straight-up answers, because you left from behind the medicine den. Nobody leaves camp that way unless they don't want to be seen." She lashed her tail. "So, where did you go?" she challenged, blocking Orangetail's way into camp.

Wolfcry padded back over. "I went with him. " He said. "We found the badger down in there.." He said, trying to help Orangetail.

"yeah, it was disgusting!" Orangetail sniffed, putting on his best "oh my gosh that is so gross "face. He flicked his tail and smiled at wolfcry

Flamespots lashed her tail at their obvious lies. She opened her jaws to taste their scent. "You don't smell like badger, dead or alive. And you were gone all night. It doesn't take that long to check out a badger. And you!" She turned on Wolfcry. "You always come home stinking of fox dung or herbs, and claim you were out hunting. But you never come back with prey." Her eyes widened. "Fox dung... are you trying to hide a scent?" she hissed. She caught the smile Orangetail gave Wolfcry. She was furious. It's so obvious they're hiding something!

"No! I've.. I've been investigating a Fox Burrow.. And uh.. Following it, to see how far it goes." he hissed, pretending it was a secret.
