Lizzie smiled at that. "You know your dad and I were talking last night when you fell asleep." She chuckled softly and looked at him. "You really put a lot of thought into this." She stopped at the end of his driveway and turned to face him. "You make me the luckiest girl in the world, you know that?"

Rory blushed. "Well, I wanted it to be perfect," he said. "I'm glad I make you feel so lucky. I feel like that, too. I feel like I can do anything when you're with me."

Lizzie smiled softly and kissed him lightly. "It was perfect."
