Lizzie had slept the entire night at his side, snuggled into him with the blanket draped around them. She was still asleep when Rory awoke.

He chuckled and kissed her head.

Lizzie stirred when she felt him kiss her head. Her eyelids fluttered.

Rory smiled, stroking her head. "Morning."

"Morning," she murmured as she heard Rory's voice. It took a moment for her to remember where she was, but when she did, a groggy smile found her lips. "How'd you sleep?"

"Best I've slept in a while. You?" he asked.

Lizzie smiled and nodded. "Same." She rolled on her side carefully to face him, letting her eyes search his face once she got situated.

He smiled, kissing her. "Good. You should stay over more often."

Lizzie smiled and kissed him back. "I second that opinion."
