I sigh lightly "and? I could go anywhere I want right now. I don't need you with me to do that." I say glancing over at him

I lean against the doorway, arms crossed "so now what? Can we go back downstairs?" I ask in almost a whine.

I put my phone down on my dresser and lay down. Soon enough I fell asleep.

I sigh "i told you, you're an outcast. I don't go behind closed doors, upstairs, or anything like that with outcasts." I reply

Ember rolled her eyes, "Why? We're not that different, you and me. We both have missing parents. We both hate school. We think we're better than other people. What do think I can possibly do to you?!

Wish smiled and nodded, seeing her house coming up into view, "Heck yeah! I'll have someone to talk to for once.

Alex nodded and laughed, "Good, I'll be holding you to that." she said as she pulled up and parked the truck outside Wish's house, "And I'll be very disappointed if you don't call." she then added with a pout.

Wish smiled, "Me? Not call my precious baby? Aw..." She quickly leaned over and kissed her cheek, "Talk to ya layer!" She got out.

Alex grinned as she watched Wish get out of the truck. "Talk to you later, baby." she called after her. She waited in the truck for a minute, to make sure Wish was in her house and safe before she began to drive towards her own home.
