What is a Faiid?
Faiidae are like a mixture of a fox and feline. They have feathers on their shoulders and tail tips, as well as solar plates on the bridge of their nose, neck, and flank. These plates absorb energy from the sun, which powers the Faiid. Faiidae do not eat, instead using a method similar to photosynthesis to nurture them. Faiidae have personalities ranging from sweet and shy to ruthless and cold- the possibilities are endless! Will you be able to tame a Faiid of your own?

About Faiidae
- Faiidae (plural of Faiid) can be found in almost any climate, although most prefer forests and plains over deserts and cold.
- The pawpad and tounge of a Faiid is always the same color as it’s solar plates.
- A Faiid may not have more than 10 colors, and no less than 2.
- They always have feathers and solar plates.
- On rare occasions, a child Faiid will be born with LKS (lifelong kit syndrome). Faiidae with this syndrome will never grow past their child stage.
- Faiidae can be almost any color, except for bright neon. Their fur usually has more natural colors, although an unnaturally colored Faiid is not uncommon.
- Faiidae can still eat food, although they don’t need to. Their solar plates are what gives them energy.
- There are 1-2 kits in a Faiidae litter
- Faiidae mate for life
- Some Faiidae have hair, although it's very unlikely and doesn't happen often.

Rules
- Follow all CS rules
- Respect me and my staff
- Do not steal, sell, or trade any Faiid
- Customs are reserved for my staff- do not ask for one
- Do not ask to be part of the staff- I will recruit when I need to
- Do not bribe anyone for any reason, and do not mini-mod
- You may own 4 Faiidae
- A Faiid cannot be your fursona
- Please don’t spam or complain if you don’t win
- Revamps are not allowed at the moment

Growth and Re-adoption
- A Faiid is fully grown at 4 months
- Two months between each stage
- Aging starts when you receive your Faiid, not when it is created
- You are not required to age your Faiid right at two months, but waiting a lot longer is not recommended
- If you wish to put your Faiid up for re-adoption, you need to PM the artist, and the two of you can work things out (if they are no longer an artists, pm me instead)
- Runner-ups may not be put up for re-adoption
- If you would like to gift your Faiid, you need to ask me first. If I find out you have illegally gifted a Faiid, it will be put up for re-adoption and you will get a strike.

Item Rules
- You are allowed to add minor accessories to your Faiid
- The following items are allowed: Jewelry, beads, collars, bows, hats, small trinkets, glasses
- The following items are not allowed (unless the Faiid was made with them): Hair, horns, headphones, legwarmers, scarves, other large accessories
- Artists and staff, you are allowed to add any of the above items to your customs
- If you are curious about whether an item that wasn’t on the list is acceptable, PM me or ask on the thread

How to adopt
Click on any Faiid you are interested in adopting. The artist will have a form you need to fill out, and they won’t all be the same. Follow the rules for each adopt!

Guest artist applications are OPEN, and they will open when I say so. Guest artists are allowed to make 2 Faiidae. Guest artists may not make customs. If I like your designs enough, I will offer you an official artist position, but this only applies when I need staff.

Mods will be chosen based off of their past experiences. I am more likely to recruit someone who has been a trustworthy moderator before, wants the position, and is involved with the species.
