.: In The Beginning :.An iridescent pink egg glittered in the rays of the rising sun. Heavily cracked, the hatchling growing inside was near the end of it's incubation. The morning sun pushing it on. The sweet grasses surround the egg, fresh dew beading on the soft stems, like a protective shield. Hiding it from sight. The thin and delicate piece of string clung desperately to the outer shell of the egg, small white beads threaded through, as the egg cracked further.The mother returned soon after, her nose nudging the egg, turning it so each side of the egg receives and equal turn in facing the sun. The mother crooned gently, the tiny hairs of the egg making it soft and supple to the touch. The mother raised her head and spread her wings wide, her feathery down exposed as she plucked small feathers to line around the egg for extra warmth. Her eyes glow a strange color, as her horns blotted patches of the sun giving the rest of her a glowing appearance.The egg wobbled ever so slightly, catching the mother off guard. She snorted and lowered her head to greet her young. A small nose appeared soon after it broke through the shell, still with the white tip on it's nose used to crack the shell surrounding it. It found the new air, it would have to breathe, cold and retreated deep inside it's solid sanctuary.The mother crooned continuously almost cat like as she tried to urge her hatchling free and into the world.That hatchling had to give in and it only took a couple of minutes for it to make it's mind up. Pushing the rest of it's body through the partially broken shell. The mother blinked as the young Crinitus Dragon landed face first in the moist earth. It squeaked, alarmed by the large and unfamiliar face presented to it. The mother smiled, raising her head a little further away, the string and beads, she picked up ever so gently with her jaws and wrapped it around her young's neck.Peering down at it's gift, the delicate pink hatchling feathered face beamed, a small smile creased into it. Bouncing about, the young hatchling needed a name. 'Paradise' The mother whispered in her own language, unheard by most humans. The hatchling nodded in appreciation of that name, thinking that it suited her. Paradise continued to bounce about, before soon falling flat on her face. Her mother laughed and gently picked her up and encourage her to try again.It took a few hours for Paradise to gain her balance and be walking around with her mother. Paradise shone in the sun, like she was constantly or belonged underwater. The new mother was proud of her hatchling, who would grow big and strong, like she dragon she was born to be. Paradise padded through the meadow, sticking close to her mother. Bee's buzzed past her covered ears, catching her attention. Paradise was quick to chase but soon became separated and sped back to safety on small legs.
.: Meeting Other's :.Paradise was a few weeks to a month old by now and her mother thought of it to be safe to take her young dragonling to meet others. Paradise hid behind her mother as others of her kind came into view. Young Crinitus Dragons playing and tumbling about in the young grass, some even fluttering about beginning the act of flying. Paradise was shy and stuck intensely close to her mother. The pink dragon watched as other played, she sneezed loudly as pollen got to her.Other young raised their head at the tremendous sneeze and smiled, they all had their individual friend groups. There were dark dragonlings and pale color dragonlings others were all mixed and matched. Paradise looked towards the adults it seemed they played with the young of the dragons their mother's knew. Paradise looked about to see who she might meet and who her mother knew. Paradise's mother bounded for a group of females, she followed close behind as best as she could.Paradise's mother halted and began to speak, greeting them. Smiling at her friends young. Their large eyes peering up at her in awe. Their attention soon turned to Paradise, she was different a pale pink like her father. They smiled at her, since their mother's knew Paradise's. Paradise looked up to her mother for reassurance. With her long and feathery tail, Paradise was nudged toward the other. Encouraging her to play and develop essential social skills.The cherry blossom colored, Crinitus Dragon took a while to join in with their rough and tumble. After around 10 minuted, Paradise was rolling about in the blossoming flowers, learning how it battle and love for others. Paradise was shyer than most but when she came out of her shell, the pink dragonling was a heck of a lot of fun to be around. The others smiled as they bit and clawed at her soft feathers, some falling out of place.They all soon tired themselves out, they lay in a big pile in the sun. Huddled together for extra warmth. Paradise took turns with the others to rest in the middle. Paradise dream't of a life soaring high in the sky, wondering for the one who would capture her heart. Large pink wings flapping effortlessly. The wind whipping through the soft and supple feathers as she flew through the white clouds. The sun heated her body, it was pleasant and life given.Paradise was soon awoken by her mother, the sun was only just setting and the moon beginning to rise. A big yawn over whelmed her small jaws, toppling her over. Her mother said her goodbyes and carried Paradise back to their nest site. Paradise would miss the little green dragonling she had met along with the other but she knew her mother would take her back. For now she could rest. The comfy nest engulfed her in warmth as Paradise surrendered to slumber.
.: Flying The Nest :.Paradise was older now and knew how to fend for herself. At the age of 3 years, she was preparing for her first lone hunt. It would not be perfect but if she could kill or forage Paradise would strike out on her own. Her fully fledged wings beat hard, causing a dust cloud, lifting herself up and off the ground. Soaring over the forest, the leaves rustled and the forest fell into an eerie silence as Paradise prepared for the hunt.She landed roughly in a small patch of open ground close to a patch of grazing herbivores. Her feet were placed carefully and in complete silence. Her eyes completely homed in on her prey. Paradise's horns were fully grown now and at their full length. Her height around 1.24 Meters, the average size for a female of her age. Paradise was still growing but not for very long now. Her wings were folded back against her back, her horns flat against her back or as flat as possible.Paradise watched intently, her long feathered tail waving with the wind, it tickled her senses as it was still a new feeling to her. Her feet were beginning to be placed faster in her effort to increase the pace of the hunt. One claw landed on a small twig but it let out a large crack. Announcing her presence, Paradise had to run now or never. Bolting from the woods she tried to keep pace, gaining slowly but surely. Her wings opened and flapped trying to increase her speed.The herbivores got into the forest before she could get close enough to pounce. Coming to terms with her failure, Paradise plodded slowly towards a fruiting tree. Plucking one gently from its branches. Sitting back on her haunches her small teeth sliced through the juicy flesh of the fruit. It was sweet and sticky, the juices clinging to and around her powerful jaws. Paradise spared the seeds and placed them in a hole for them to bloom into a new tree.Paradise raised her head, her mother was coming through the forest with a freshly killed animal. A smiled crept across her face, walking up and quickly greeting her mother. Paradise looked down towards the kill and crooned. With a nod from her mother, the adolescent swung her elegant head down to open up the tough hide of the animal. The flesh was red and filled with blood. The meat supplemented her diet along with the fruit and offered variety stopping Paradise from getting bored.Paradise knew the time was coming for her to leave her mother's protection. Her mother sighed and looked at her eye to eye. She was a beautiful dragon and her mother knew that Paradise would find the perfect mate. Lowering her head Paradise embraced her mother, looping her neck around her mother's. Letting out a mournful cry, Paradise spread her wings and flew high into the sky. Away from her mother and into the world of the unknown.
.: The Beginning Of A New Relationship :.The once newly hatched dragon was now fully fledged on the hunt for a mate. She would be picky like the rest and that may take her several years. Paradise soared willfully above the clouds, a few squeaks and grumbles of pleasure escaped her mighty jaws, as she flew through clouds. A small collection of water droplets formed on her feathers, lowering her body temperature giving her some relief from the beating sun.Paradise landed roughly but slightly smoother than she used to. She was underweight and starving. This was the stage that most young dragons died. Either from attack, from starvation or illness. Paradise had lost the energy to fight or hunt and collapsed in a big heap on the floor. She was the creature of legend that was about to re-discovered and a new bond formed between her and an unlikely counterpart.Further away a young blonde headed girl was leaving her small wooden cottage to forage for fruits. Her hair waved delicately on the wind as she tried to tie it up in a neat pony tail. Waving good bye to her parents, the young girl wondered deep into the forest. The best tree's could be found here. Her soft and pale hands grasped the fresh fruits and placed them in her little basket. "Hmm..." She wondered, a strange shadow had been seen earlier flying in this direction.Paradise could hear fumbling in the forest and knew danger could be just around the corner. She grumbled loudly, a warning for them to keep away. Her thin and emaciated body couldn't move much further than a couple of feet every now and then. Several hours had been spent lying on the ground, if only the Crinitus Dragon could reach the fruiting tree's. Paradise now feared for her life as the shadow came into the clearing to greet her.The young girl peered through the leaves of a dangling tree, "Wow..." She whispered, she had never seen anything like it. Her jeans had ripped slightly as she pushed her way through and into the clearing. She could tell it was in distress and in need of some love and care. Taking out an apple, she held it in her hand and placed it on the floor close to where the creature could reach but far enough away so if it lashed out she wouldn't be in harms way.Paradise looked up and took the apple and ate it whole, the feeling in her stomach was magnificent. Paradise realized this young girl could be her saving grace. The blonde girl nursed her back to health, they slowly built a bond that would last a life time. Several years on, Paradise will not let the girl ride her but their bond is growing stronger by the day and together they both know that they can achieve anything.

It may take up to a week;
However, since it's already broken through the egg.
It's likely to be sooner!<3
Plus, it did say that once the competition was finished,
The hatchling would be out.
So, Soon, once Rawr is back on!<3
