I've also used Amazon in the past with positive results as well as good prices. If you have a specifc book in mind though you should brobly just check prices vrs. delivery time between a couple of reputable places.

@Vestra: When you get your new book, you'll have to post the name of it on here. It sounds very interesting and might be worth buying (at least for me). (:

For those of you who are interested in tarot cards. I have been looking at getting a deck called "Messenger Oracle" by Lo Scarabeo. They're beautiful cards.

If you don't mind me asking, what's the shop called?
Hi, I'm Willowkit17, feel free to call me Willow, or Crow...I prefer Crow.

Wearing human skin I never chose
I listened to the devil as he spoke

But I just need something to calm my nerves

Tell you a thing in case you don't
Preferably a cigarette or something just as absurd

I know I miss you, but it's OK
Or maybe I want my anxiety to stay

I don't get depressed when I am lonely
'Cause in the end it's all I have to ease the pain

Of the distance that took you away"

Ohmyglob. It's beautiful. Do you mind telling me what it's like when you've read it? It looks like it would be a good read. (:

Uh, hi.

Currently, I am of the Jewish religion. I was raised a jew, but I am not serious in the practices of Judaism. For example, I don't light the sabbath candles every Friday evening, only on special occasions.

For a while, I tested out Wicca, and found that I was a much happier person with it. But then I quickly converted back to my old ways out of... fear? I do not know, but up until that point, I had always been a faithful jew. Since then I have been practicing reading Tarot cards, which can be considered an ancient jewish practice. My tarot cards even have words written on them in hebrew!

But I find that I am having trouble straying from my religion. I was raised a jew. It's as simple as that; I fear converting back into a wiccan for various reasons.

1. I still feel faithful towards my religion.
2. I fear people avoiding me more than they already do, even though my school is supposed to be accepting of all religions.
3. I just am... unsure.

But I also loved being a wiccan. I am DIFFERENT which is why a lot of the time I am also LONELY. I loved the spell casting, the meditation practices, everything.

I'm so confused on what to choose! I will have to ask my Babushka about it. She'd understand.

Keep them both and make your own religion. You don't have to just stick with just one ( Ex. Christian Wicca ). An example of this would be me. I am a mixture of Celtic Wicca and Druid. As for people avoiding you, you will always come into contact with someone who doesn't understand it, but the more confident you are in who/what you are, the better you will feel about it. (:

I'd just like to point out that still feeling faithful towards a religion can sometimes just be a habit. It was very foreign to me when I gave up Christianity, and the two things that really held me back were my fear that I would go to hell and my habits of being a Christian and believing what was in the Bible.

Converting, if you choose to, is a scary thing and takes time to get used to. The most important thing for me was to constantly think about the morals being taught in each religion. Wicca, to me, seemed to be more about equality and peace than Christianity was. I had to think about that every time that I became scared of my conversion.

Conversion is a very big deal; I wish you the best of luck trying to find your path. <3
