Blazepaw was hunting. He crouched and smelled and a bunch of smells invaded him. This wasn't normal...was it? No. He could pick up many different scents and of course, a rabbit not far away. He leaped at the prey and killed it with his paw.

(can I make a med. cat? I have a lot of experience, and if she/he's been that inactive then...)
With the squirrel in her jaws, Sweetpaw glanced down, realizing that she was in a tree. In the excitement of the hunt, she hadn't realized she had climbed so high. She began to grow dizzy and was suddenly back at the gorge, hanging on for her life. She fainted and slipped off the branch, to the forest floor below.

The apprentice groomed his fur and then padded out of camp. He made the scents come to him as it had happened before. He could smell a whole family of badgers, no less than three! he raced back to camp. "BADGERS!" he screamed.

Rainsplash looked out of his den, shocked at the apprentice's outburst. "There are badgers?" He asked worriedly.

Sweetpaw's eyes fluttered open and she was groggily aware that she was laying in the forest. She shook her head and tried to stand up, but a sharp pain in her front right paw made her gasp. She lifted it up right away and noticed that it was twisted almost all the way to the right. Tears welled up in her eyes but she didn't cry. She noticed a dead squirrel laying near the tree and thought, I must have climbed up after it and fell. She picked it up and hobbled to the camp.
