Lucas picked her up bridal style and rocked her

Desiree opened her eyes and giggled. She leaned into him again and continued hum

It was like dancing he danced like that with her and he smiled "did you like my parents"he asked

Desiree liiked up at him. "Yes, they seemed very nice." She replied smiling. "I wish you could meet mine but they died a long long time ago." She said

He looked down at her and sat down he put her close to his chest "what was it like to be a human"he asked

Of course! He'd been born a vampire. Desiree thought and then smiled. "Well, it...in some ways restricting but in others one of the best feelings ever. The feeling of being alive and breathing. The warmth of the sun beating down on your skin is one of the best feelings in the world others being the simply touch of people you love. Your senses are much weaker and your more vulnerable to diseases such as cancers which can kill a person and is one of the worst ways to go." She explained softly

Lucas wished he could feel her skin her warmth if she had any but he was cold his skin was he wanted to hear a heart beating but that would lead him to hunger and he wanted to feel the sun on his skin but he burnt easily he was sad and looked down

Desiree looked up at him and saw that she'd upset him. She gently kissed his cheek and put her head against the side of his. "Im sorry Lucas. I didnt mean to upset you." She whispered
