Im my opinion, when it comes to a comic, you want to make your characters simple and memoriable. If you make their markings too complicated then they are harder to draw and you won't want to draw them as much. So, what do you guys think?

I agree with making them simple. Just look at the webcomic stupid fox. the character is a markingless fox but yet still recognizable.

I agree, the more simple the character is, the better. ^^ There's no way I would want to draw a complicated character over and over in multiple poses!
