Kia twitched her tail in irritation. Her brother just bluntly ignored her, and one thing she hated was being ignored. The young fae brushed up against her brother, her fur melting into his. " You know that RIGHT?" she said this time annoyed. Polarus furrowed his eyebrows. " Yes, I know that Kia." he said gently shoving her off him. Kia growled. " Okay, if anyone can get under your fur it's me, now come on and spill. What's bringing your tail in a knot?" She questioned demandingily.

The morning had dawned in a strange way. The sentinel standing watch on the peak of the ridge overlooking Drift territory was thoroughly annoyed by the fact that he hadn't even been able to see the sun peek over the horizon. He glared at the moderately dark clouds with his intense blue eyes willing them to simply vanish.
"Stupid clouds," he murmured, turning tail and swiftly following the trail down to ground level. His favorite look-out point was only a few minute's trotting distance from camp where he would hopefully find something slightly less dull to do. Nothing much had happened around the place lately, nothing much was likely to happen within the next few hours.
Amaroq spotted Polarus and and his sister, Kiara, chatting rather violently and immediately shifted direction towards them.
"Hey guys!" he shouted. Amar grinned.
Intrusion of probably important relational conversation?

Kia jumped with surprise at Amar's voice. Polarus smirked at Kia before looking towards Amar a grateful way. " Don't think this is over Polar Bear." Kia warned with a smirk as her teal eyes glanced to Amar. " Well hello Amar!" she said with a gentle sweet smile. Polarus scoffed up a laugh, his sister was a joy to be around. One second she was sweet the next she was a monster. Kia winked at Polarus in a playful manner before glancing back to Amar.

Amaroq noted happily the mild sibling argument that he had so enjoyably put on hold before sitting down and glaring at Kia.
"Get out and scout the northeast border. I've noticed it's pretty quiet out there and I need to know what's going on," he ordered.
There. That was better than watching a sunless sunrise up in the clouds.
Amar looked at Polarus.
"Just keeping 'em on their toes, sire."
He flopped over onto his back and arched his spine against the grass to scratch his hips and shoulders.

Dusk opened an eye at the small trio, smirking at the three from his perch upon a rock. He had fallen asleep on the rough stone instead of inside his den, which he didn't mind. The greyish brute rose to his paws, stretching them out in front of himself before hopping down onto the ground and heading towards the group. "Hey guys." Dusk greeted in a friendly manner, sitting down near Polarus.
