I raised an eyebrow at the boy even though my eyes were closed. I could practically hear the blush in his voice but I didn't comment on it. When I got too tired my witty remarks stopped making sense so I just nodded slight before succumbing to the slumber that was beckoning me further into the inviting darkness.

ren finally fell asleep, it wasn't hard, being that his whole day had been kind of a crazy train wreck of emotions and injuries. Knowing that Axel and Storm where safe, along with the fact the Eraser was tied up and secure, was enough to coax him into the darkness of unconsciousness.

I hated waking up. It was always impossibly hard, not to mention the few seconds of total panic when I found myself to be tied up. Something about waking up this way made me really uncomfortable and panicky so I could only hope that Ren would cut me loose soon because I was seriously freaking out here.

Damon's struggling woke him up. Sunshine was making Ren's body resemble a golden striped tiger as it cast in through the trees, and he squinted slightly when he opened his eyes and it was glaring directly into them. He sat up, slowly, rubbing his eyes with his fists, and saw Damon having a complete meltdown. Ren reached forward and gently put a hand on the boy's arm, raising an eyebrow. "calm down!" he muttered, his hair looking kind of like un groomed black feathers, sticking up all over the place like a chick's downy coat.
