Were you a show horse destined for greatness when someone simply left the gate open? Or are you born wild and will you forever be free? Whatever your history, you are now a wild horse. Living in the plains of what is left of wild America. The fresh air fills your lungs and there is room to stretch your legs, will you find a herd and survive or are you destined to fall prey o the many predators or hard conditions? However you choose your path you are my wild and you will be fore the rest of your life. Or will you?

The Rules
-all of Tess's rules apply
-Mares hardly ever escape a stallion and get into its herd 98% of the time
-This is a realistic rp, no crazy coat colors and horses should act like horses
-Fade to black when mating/birthing
-Drama is welcome though don't go overboard
-Mares never get jealous of other mares as stallions court and mate with all mares in the herd
-horses do not have crushes or mates, instead mares all share a single stallion
-lead mare is not the stallions favorite mare, it is the most dominant mare and mares will even fight like stallions for the position
-Respect the other rpers
-no power playing
-No perfect horses! Everyone had flaws and will lose once in awhile
-be realistic when your horses fight, an older stallion will easily drive away a younger one
-Use proper grammer and punctuation
-snaking is very normal and mares usually don't care, I don't want to see mares hating or getting mad at a stallion just because they snaked them
-lone horses don't survive long by themselves, bachelors must find other bachelors and mares must find herds
-post good sentences, not just two or three words and try to post around at least two-three sentences

Warm in the day and cool in the mornings and nights. Sometimes it may even rain. Mares are in heat and stallions are more aggressive, breeding with their mares and stealing mares from other herds. Mares might even be foaling, a week after this they can be recovered and carry a new foal for the next year

: S u m m e r :
Days are getting longer and nights are shorter. The temperature is rising Mares are still in heat Stallions are still in the search of more mares. There is no more rain and the sun is always shining.

: A u t u m n :
It is starting to get cooler and it might even rain. Mares are rarely in heat at this time. By the end of Autumn some foals may be born

: W i n t e r :
Days are shorter and nights are longer. The temperature is cold and blankets of snow will cover the land. Some foals may be born in the beginning or end of winter. Can be a dangerous time for some herds since bachelors like to sneak through the snow and try to snake away the mares. Mares are rarely in heat as they have been covered already.

The Lands

River & Forrest - The river and Forrest have the most coverage. However it is also a good place for predators to hunt, and there is mostly only ferns and short grass here.

The Valley - The valley is surrounded by mountains and is grassy and holds the best food. Most horses live here or congregate here.

The Cove - The cove is a hard to get to place surrounded by rocks, though the beach has lush green grass growing around it and is a prized place for horses to live.

History: She was raised in her herd until she was two then she left to find her own. It is simple, not a bad history. The usual with wild horses.
Personality: She can be stubborn and hot headed but is generally kind, she loves the company of others. She likes to run and will usually join any stallion that try's to steal her from her herd, she stays if they let her have a little freedom which she would be broken without.

History: She was born to a lone mare who dies when she was finnished suckling. Once her mother died she was adopted by another herd, where she lived until two when she was snaked away. She was quite happy in her herd but a human round up took her herd but released he in hopes of spreading her colour genetics.
Personality: Dawn is a shy horse, spooky and not very trusting. However she is good at faking it, she is easily pushed around and finds it hard to say no to someone. She is quiet natured but very skittish, spooking at the smallest things.

History:
Dream was born at a stable, her father was a famous race horse who was accidentally left with a Friesan mare and covered her, resulting in Dream. Unwanted, Dream and and her mother were sold and separated. In her new home, Dream was left in a paddock and when the human opened the gate she fled, using her speed to escape into the wild.

Faith is a gentle and motherly mare, when someone is unhappy she will try her best to make them happy. She is often kind and respectful to her stallion, but if that stallion is cruel she will ignore and stay away from him. She is very friendly though not very playful. She is often calm and usually lazy, it is hard to make her sad and though she doesn't get mad often she will fight when angered.
History:
Faith was raised in a large herd and she lived happily there. However, after a few days her father died as he had a broken leg, and his band was taken by a chestnut named Jinx. Faith and her mother lived with this new stallion for a little over a year until the stallion suddenly disappeared. Faith, her mother, and her little sister Asuna who was only a few months old at the time separated from the others. However, Faith's mother grew sick. They were found by Kiyro who took them in, but Faith's mother died shortly after. Faith grew upset and stayed with Kiyro while her sister went with a different band as she was still nursing and Kiyro's band did not have a mare who could take care of her. Faith stayed with Kiyro's band for several months, but one day the stallion disappeared. She left the others and found Night. The two were captured by humans but they managed to get away while the humans were distracted. Faith then stayed with Night after that.

History:
Asuna was born in a nice herd that consisted of her sire, dam, sister and two other mares. However when Winter came her sire died, and Hope, Faith and Asuna were alone. The three travelled together and found a herd, but their mother, Hope grew ill and passed away. Asuna was brought to a different herd and nurses from a mare. When she was a yearling the stallion of that herd was struck by lightning and the mares separated. Asuna was found by a stallion and stayed with him until Ace managed to snake her, two other mares, and a filly away. She was covered by Ace and now lives happily with him and his mares along with their filly.

Once he snaps he grows fierce and will badly hurt whoever angered him, even if it was a mare or foal. He can be mean at times, mostly to stallions but he is usually kind and protective of his mares.
History:
Pride was born in a normal sized herd, his father was a powerful stallion and his mother was the lead mare of the band. When he was two, he was going to be kicked from his herd but wasn't as wranglers came. These men were not allowed to come and roundup these horses, but they did it anyways. They would catch horses and sell them, occasionally breeding them if they managed to get a horse with a rare coat. His herd was targeted, the horses were rounded up and shoved into a cramp trailer. Days passed, and one by one the horses in the herd were sold. Pride, was lucky however. He was sold to a ranch and the workers there were kind. It was rough, but they managed to train Pride into a calm working stallion. Though he missed the wild, he enjoyed his life at the ranch. He lived there for a few years, but one summer day the barn went up in flames. It was chaotic, Pride was released so he could get away from the flames but instead of staying by the barn he ran, too fast for any to catch him at the time. He ran as far as he could, and didn't stop until his legs ached and he could no longer run. A few days have passed since the incident and he is now alone in a new place, trying to find mares or other bachelorslike himself.

Personality:Calm Apocalypse is a pretty cruel stallion. He will punish disloyal mares, snake any he can and has a ver strict policy. He doesn't stand for mares who can't produce foals. He is a very good leader and loves all his mares though.

She was deemed useless when she refused to breed and was donated to a research facility where they tagged her and sent her back to the wild. During a lightning storm she was struck on the tag and it broke off, sending her into a coma. When she woke up, she was alone still.
Personality:Midnight's Child is somber and delicate, she avoids confrontation.
