Dirk chuckled softly and nodded, "Matesprits then?" He asked, then continued, "Sure." He replied, smiling sweetly now. Lightly kissing Gamzee's nose, he got up and walked out of the fort, "We ought a look around fer some food, I'm starvin'." The Texan muttered, his grumbling stomach barely audible.

Gamzee smiles at his new matesprit and nods. "The only thing there is is candy." He grunts tiredly and stands. He easily was taller than Dirk, so he towered over the male. He bent to kiss his head before sighing.

The Texan smiled for a brief moment before a frown spread over his lips, "F***." He muttered lowly, he was in no mood to eat candy. He stepped out of the fort and looked back to Gamzee, "You comin' or not?" He asked. He would hunt down some reasonable food, even if it kills him.

"I'm coming, babe." He yawns, grabbing his clubs and followed him outside. "We going?"

Dirk smirked slightly at the pet name Gamzee's already given him, "Mhmm." He hummed, walking beside his new Matesprit. "This place sure sucks." He deadpanned as he pointed to the lollipop trees, trying his best to hide the goofy grin the he felt coming up at his own silly pun.

He chuckled at his pun and smiles softly. "We can eat those." He suggested, poking the tree.

The Texan made a display of sucking his tongue out in disgust, "Man that sh**'s gonna kill us." He grumbled, then glanced around, "F*** it. It's all we got to eat..." Begrudginly, he whipped out his katana and cut the lollipop clean in half, "There." he grumbled, picking up a small piece from the lollipop and licking it, scrunching his nose, "Ugh..." he muttered.
