Rose saw want Glory was about to do from the way his body was tensed and stepped between him and the bird. "Look" she said to the bird "My friend meant no harm."

Rose watched as the bird shifted into a human. Baring her teeth, she growled through them "You never saw us. Clear?" And without waiting for an answer, she headed off towards a forest area. Glory hissed through his teeth at the human and followed Rose. When they were close together, they stopped and spun around, facing the human. "Our names are Midnight Rose and Morning Glory. We advise you to forget you saw us in the city." With that, they waited, wanting her to reply before they hid among the trees.
