What is a Mutato?

In a rapidly changing world of rapidly accumulating toxic waste, Mutatoes take to the sky.
These creatures, affectionately dubbed Mutatoes, are a sad combination of an unknown creature, radioactive material, and a potato.
They live in the sky and consume UV radiation. They are the new era of Super Man.

At birth Mutatoes are about the size of a potato and can grow to around the size of a basketball.
Generally they are busy creatures who would prefer flying to being carried.
The Mutato is filled with the same kind of gases that its tail is made of.
These gases are currently unidentified, but are lighter than air- enabling them to fly.
They can stay in the air for a maximum of 20 hours straight before they need to land and "rest".
Though, when they can't be in the air, Mutatoes pace... a lot.

I'd name this gorgeous girl Lucciola, Luci for short

lucciola is italian for "firefly" It is pronounced loo-chee-olah. Her nickname Luci is just pronounced like Lucy or Loo-chee XD she doesn't mind.

Owl city- Fireflies I saw this Mutato and was like OMG that song is perfect XD

This Mutato reminded me of the movie "Tangled." In the movie, there is a song called, "At Last I See the Light," and this gorgeous Mutato reminded me of that beautiful song.

My first thought was "Fireflies" by Owl City, but seeing how many others were choosing this song I thought of another. "Jar of Hearts" by Christina Perri. Lueur must have had a bad life before but is starting to overcome it... Or something like that. xD

Name of Mutato: Lumina

Reason for name: I chose the name Lumina because the root word "lum" or "luc"
mean to light up or to illuminate and I think that she'd do just that in everything she does.

Theme Song: "Neon Lights" by Natasha Bedingfield. I chose this song because I think that in no matter what she does she'll cherish her memories, and experiences like little treasures of light.
