"The" Rares List Guide - Do not ask about new UR's!

I feel the dark heart rat should be moved to main list, it doesn't make any sense that it is on the same tier with other rats from the same month with lower rarity...

I'm sure it's all in discussion-I guess people were right (browsing through older posts) about the Dark Heart Rat being so rare. Right now, I would presume they're going to see how much higher it'll go for with the rarity change before advancing?

Exactly. We can't just move it up right off the bat, it takes time before moving something.

You wouldn't have had to search, just read the first post that you're supposed to read before posting, where it plainly says "The pets are listed in order of most to least valuable."

I didn't think that meant lists too.

Hello there , I'd like to know how you guys find out the gaps between pets and how can other users can these out. Also what's the direct method to finding rarities and demand? And how the list was built.

So, if the rares list takes in rarity, and demand, and everything, and has the pet exactly where it's value is ... how come some same-line swaps are extremely difficult to complete? Like, if the flower/toxic rat is a completely fair swap for the BMD, how come no one in the world will swap me a BMD for mine? I know the BMD has crazy demand, but then isn't the list supposed to take in demand, so it would be higher up? Or if it is supposed to be where it is, with it's demand & rarity, why can't I same line swap for it? ; o ;

The rat may be in the tier for rarity, not demand. Some pets have very little demand, but are high up because they're just that rare. So the rat may be a lot more rare than the BMD, but have very little demand, and it evens out to be on the same tier.

I have been thinking, and maybe the rats should all be moved up to their real rarity value not includeing low demand. I think it would A. Give a demand boost. Or B. Have people pay closer to real value.

for most rats they are valued by rarity not really by demand, some rats are really that rare, where other pets are less rare but on the same line as well, in fact this was discussed above

I disagree. This list includes rarity AND demand. I've seen people pay the fair price (where they're listed). It's just that not many people want to trade for rats, and would rather have dogs. I know that I wouldn't trade a BMD for a flower/toxic rat because I'm not looking for rats, while rat lovers would take the trade. Moving the rats up wouldn't change anything, and it definitely wouldn't boost demand.
