Thanks to two generous gifts that someone sent to me, my Multi Tailed Pack has grown to 100 tails!!! I'm not sure if I want to stop at 100 or just turn it into an everlasting hoard. I am quite taken by the tails. :3

Ah. Well, it looks like much more than 100 tails. xD Probably around 2-300? x3

Aw heck, IndigoCat. I think I'll just turn it into an ever-lasting hoard. I know that some will be hard to obtain (List pets are exceedingly hard to obtain), but I'll get there. I know that there's a chance that the staff will throw out more multi-tails to love and hold. The kitsune was a huge surprise; hope there are more to follow.

It's still a world with many holes, but I'm working on it ^^
For the Veiled World I heavily borrowed from the concept of an afterlife I made up for one of my stories, so it is rather complete in comparison to the other parts.
I was thinking about doin the same for Cah-Havenn, too, since I dressed up a lot of my Vixens after magician characters of mine anyway (Avior, Ascella and Algorab from the thread are based on Daven, Letalia and Ari, and the things they're practising refer to what they're best at in their story - Ari excluded, he's actually more of an illusionist and has some trouble manipulating real things ^^), but then I'd have to explain the magic system which would be tl;dr xD

But see, that's the great thing - even if you don't have a story behind your hoard when you start it, you can just make one up ^^ None of my owl hoards save for the Eagle Owls started because of a deeper reason - I just liked the designs.
I thought it was boring that I had so many owl hoards without any story to them, though, so I made up Catavarth, and had the other bird hoards go with it, too^^

And I love your butterfly hoards and the inspiration behind them x3

Does anyone else have secret hoards? Like, the ones that you're afraid to hoard so you kinda just mini-hoard them and keep them in a regular group (pets without a group for me x3)?

;_; Those babies kinda have their own group but still... I just feel really bad about hoarding these but I love them so very much that I can't let go. I seriously need to find a Rares list hoarder anonymous support group.

I'm always curious to hear people's stories behind their hoards, and I'm sure quite a few of us have a lot that have never been explained in this thread, due to having been completed before posting for the first time or whatever else.

I would actually love to do this. ^^ edit: omg, I have no life 0_0

92 days of summer 2013 - I love their coloration, it reminds me of sunsets at the beach and peach cocktails... I decided to start hoarding these in honor of this summer because it was quite depressing for me but the coloras are very fun, warm and sunny - like a great summer should be.
Alice in Wonderland - I like fairies a lot and these look like creatures which could be flaying around an Enchanted forest. To me it doesn't have to do anything with Alice at all, just the Wonderland.
Amethystic - Amethyst is my favorite gemstone and purple is my favorite color.
Autumnal // Dusty angels - These are 2 mini-hoards in 1 group. The ones in Autumnal remind me of autumn leaves and autumn is also my favorite season ^^ I don't really remember why I dressed them all up like that though. Dusty angels are my 1st hoard, I just love how simple and calm the colors are and those wings are just adorable!
Bella Dora - This hoard is in memory of the daughter of my mare Drāma. I watched Bella grow up and I was the one who taught her everything but then she got sold. I truly hope her new owner loves her very much. </3
Black roses // Anyplace, anywhere, anytime - These are 2 mini-hoards in 1 group. The black roses one is quite self explanatory. xD I wanted to have a little hoard of the space PPS dogs because they remind me of this song by Nena & Kim Wilde, I used to like it a lot when I was younger.
Celestial stars - This is one of my recent hoards, It was a nightmare to trade for. I chose to call them Celestial stars because that's what they remind me of. I love the eye and tail edits!
Deep down inside - Another hoard made because I love purple and the butterflywolves remind me of thoughts - everyone has those thoughts that they hide deep down inside and never tell anyone.
Der blaue Morpho - Kamikaze Kaito Jeanne is my favorite manga. I love the TV series and one of my favorite episodes was called ''Der blaue Morpho'' (ENG: The blue Morpho) These dogs are colored just like the Morpho butterflies hence I started this hoard.
Final Fantasy - this is a group of 3 mini-hoards that have the same theme. I`m a sucker for feathers and winged eye markings so I had to have 5 of each <3
Forset spirits - These guys remind me of creatures that would live deep inside the forests and take care of them.
Friends Take U As U Are - this is a very mini mini-hoard of pets with the same coloration. I chose the name because even though people may look diffarent, if they have similiar interests, they will still be with eachother, therefore the name and idea behind the hoard.

I got exactly 483 of them because the previous album of the band who plays my fave song was called 'Room 483', the number just stuck with me. This is the hoard for which I worked the hardest so I`m most proud of it. ♥
Hello, sunshine! - my first VR hoard. These buggers just seem so positive hence I named them that way. At first I had 1, then somehow I ended up with 5 and then I traded my UR apple down for 7 of them. No regrets! 12 is my favorite number and I decided to stop at it.
Moonlight sonata - The name comes from this because they remind me of it. This is also my first store pet hoard.
More than Dust - I have this love for dapple grey horses so I started this hoard, maybe I`ll expand it a bit one day. I feel like there is not enough C:
Pearls - Their color remind me of some pretty Sea pearls. These dogs are also the holders of my orchid collection.
Sun on my back - I love the sunback but these are even cuter. They remind me of grapes but I decided to stick with a sun-back name for them
Warm summer winds - These are my favorite rats. They make me feel of the gentle summer wind which carries the smell of flowers.
Your Love Never Fails - a hoard dedicated to my beloved mare Drāma who is now galloping across the pastures of heaven. I`ll never forget her.
autumn lover - so much trade fodder died on this hoard. so much... I love autumn, bare trees and the full moon. This pet cought my eye on the second I first saw it.
oh oh oh so starry eyed - They remind me of this song. This is also one of my favorite butterfly hoards, When I look at them I think of some kind of a party in the sky - where the stars fly in all directions and that song is playing.

I have even more but I really have absolutely nothing to say about them except that I like them

These dogs are so downright beautiful, I think the only reason I do not hoard them is because I actually felt like the one I have should remain special.
Normally these would fit right into my hoard criteria, being all starry and stuff, but... Idk. I just wanted a single one for once x3

Hoodies
I love YouTubeers and I was lucky enough to meet some of them, along with a band who I love very much. Meeting the people that saved my life was such a good day and I'll most likely remember it forever. I made this hoard because of the hooded rats, I loved them, but upon remembering SoTotallyToby, a YouTuber who I dearly love and who helped me through a hard time with his videos, to have just met him, was epic and I started this hoard a few weeks[?] ago, I remembered his Minecraft person wears a hoodie, so it was fitting. He is also the most cute person you will ever meet ^^

Best Friends
I love my friends, they mean the world to me, and have helped me through everything, every little trip, turn and fall, I love them and when I saw these dogs, they reminded me of them, and so, I just started hoarding them. I really wanna go for an endless hoard, but a lot of people like these dogs.

Saplings
Meeting Martyn Littlewood [ InTheLittleWood ] was wonderful, because him [ and other YouTubers ] saved my life, as I already said, they helped me through such a hard time, and I want a pet for every sapling out there, every one of them, and that is, right now, at this very time. 846,208. But it'll grow, and keep on growing, it's my goal to get a sapling like pet for each sapling out there, this isn't my biggest hoard, but it means more to me than any of the others.

Honeydew's bees!
I have yet to meet all the Yogscast, but meeting Martyn, Toby, Dave, Kaeyi, Duncan, Sjin, Strippin' and Sips was a wonderful thing for me, and last year they raised so much money for children, that it is my goal to get to the number they raised which is well over 10,000, it'll be hard, but these guys... these guys saved my life and I just love bees anyway, so these is a great hoard for me.

Area 11
This is the band, I met the lead singer, who is named Sparkles* [ Tom is his real name ]. They mean so much to me, and meeting them, seeing them live was such a wonderful thing that when we left I was crying my eyes out, I plan to get 1111 of these, which is 11 and 11.

I might myself, but then if I say I'm offering C$ for some of the Rares that need to be in my hoards, I don't want to get suggestions like "What will you give for this and this?" It would be obvious that I'd only give what the fair market value is for each Rare or VR. I severely dislike greedy people and had hoard offers canceled due to me being honest and not giving in to their impetuous greed.
