- Okay so one last little note, I am thinking of creating a Wiki for Border Lines that will cover both Drift and the old versions. Everyone who is a part of Border Lines would be encouraged to write about everything they know, including each character. (Only the owner of a character would be allowed to write about it.) So what do you guys think? A good idea or a waste of time?

Common knowledge reveals that when two wolf packs collide, chaos ensues.
Blood feuds often take toll on each, possibly destroying one or both packs.
It is likely that any members remaining from the losing side would join the
victor. That is expected. But common knowledge and expectations were
thoroughly disrupted when two packs, Crescent and Pine Ridge, collided...

Here is a quick list of specifications to follow. I won't bother listing
the endless rules that show up in almost every role play. If you
follow the site and RP rules and use common sense, you will be fine.

Character Sheets: You will have to make your own character
sheet. Make it look nice but keep it short and simple (and put all your
forms on one post). Be sure to include the following key information:

Ranks: We all know what the responsibilities of alphas and betas so
I will not explain that. Deltas are simply apprentices to a chosen beta,
usually under one year old. Once a beta position opens one of the
deltas will be picked to take that place. Scouts are the main body of
the pack, usually answering to their direct leader the sentinel as well
as the alpha and beta. Elders are the oldest wolves in the pack,
usually well respected. This does not mean they cannot participate in
hunts or battles. Pups...are pups. Any wolves underneath six months
old. Note: The entire pack, aside from pups and whoever is babysitting
them, participates in hunting and battles. That is not the exclusive job
of the scouts.

The legacy of Pine Ridge (previously known as
Blazing Moonlight) had a perfect beginning. Their first alpha, Cyclone, was a fine
black and gray alpha with more than his share of brains and brawn. Any evil that
tried to destroy his pack failed under his paw. When his son Rithtar took up
leadership of the pack, having learned from Cyclone he led them well but did not
have the strength to maintain such control. His son Beldrum killed him in a battle
for leadership and then led Pine Ridge to ruin. No wolf could best him until he
finally became too old and weak to defend himself. At this point Hailstorm took over
and to this day is trying to bring back the old life they had under Cyclone's rule,
even though he must do so alongside a second alpha.

On the opposite side of the river bordering the
east side of Pine Ridge territory and second pack struggled to stay alive. The Crescent
(White Nightlings) pack was led by Dusk, a peaceful alpha who wanted only to keep his
pack together without bloodshed. This would have been simple, for he had the skills to
do so, except that Pine Ridge covered the whole Pass that the animal herds used to travel
through the mountains. The occasional deer and rabbit were not enough to
sustain them, so Dusk was forced to send wolves into Pine Ridge to hunt. This led to
battle and death, until finally Dusk managed to come
to agreement with their leader, Hailstorm.

Tᴇʀʀɪᴛᴏʀʏ - Drift territory is mountains and valleys, reaching down to the foothills in the east. Foliage consists mainly of evergreens and harsh grasses and shrubs that can handle the near constant snow. To get an idea take a look at all the pictures posted above.
Gᴀᴍᴇ - Open meadows are plentiful with elk and moose in the spring and fall as they pass through to warmer climates. The woods contain white tail deer as well as snow shoe rabbits, hares, field mice, and large birds. All in all, famine rarely strikes this area.
Cʟɪᴍᴀᴛᴇ - Cold. The winters are long and harsh, and snow covers the ground in thick sheets both in autumn and in winter. Spring is cool and breezy, while summers can sometimes get very hot.

number one;
dusk is an interesting brute to know. first and foremost, you should what he puts first. and that, would be his pack. all through his life, he's been raised and taught that the pack comes first and that your own needs come second. but don't take him as a pushover. come to think of it, dusk hasn't been known to be a very forgiving one. if you were to come across dusk by chance, he'd most likely keep his hackles raised and his teeth bared as he decides if you're worth his time or not.

number two;
inside, however, is an entirely different story. dusk can be funny, laid back, and rather sarcastic even. he mostly confides in his past pack members, showing his true self to them while with the other part he keeps his hesitant boundaries up. the inside of dusk is much softer than what you might seem in all honesty. though, if you were to gain his approval then he'd be loyal basically to the end. the major drawback to his overall personality is his vicious temper towards anyone that might mess with him, his pack or anyone else he might hold dear. i'd watch your step.

in comparison to the other brutes, dusk isn't as muscular or large as most males might be, but he has enough strength and bulk to still keep his position as alpha. his legs are slightly longer than average, giving him the ability to take long strides and run faster. his keen eyes and nose are what keeps him in track and though his hearing isn't as good as others. the color and shade of his pelt is slightly original. for a grey wolf that is. his main colors are light tan, grey, white and some black. the very back of his ears are a black that makes twin lines down the back of his head. his eyes are a light amber, a simple color really.

A small multi gray colored wolf padded towards a strong white wolf. Her teal colored eyes glided acrosses her surroundings. Reluctantly, she followed the white male. " Polarus? What's up with you? Is your tail in a knot?" The young female teased. " Preposterous, nothing is wrong." Answered Polarus, his bright green eyes found themselves gazing over at his sister. Kia flicked her tail. " Are you sure? If something is bothering you, you know you can tell me right? After all I'm your sister, ya' know."
