P-Body

P-Body whipped around at the breaking of the dispenser. Staring at the person curiously, he jumped a little. "Who-who are you?" P-Body asked, walking closer, very slowly. Having met only Chell formally, he was very hesitant. P-Body held his portal gun in a defensive matter, as in implying hostility. Like the other subjects he met earlier, P-Body was scared. But he is more confident and brave now...

She blinked at him, wondering what his problem was. It wasn't like she could possibly pull a dagger out of thin air like some sort of mad fairy tale magician. Pushing that thought aside, she figured at least giving him her first name wouldn't hurt. "Adelyn," she said simply, observing the robot's appearance and actions a bit better now that she wasn't just peeking at him through somewhat dirty glass.

P-Body

P-Body lowered his portal gun. He looked at Adelyn for a little, before reaching out his hand. "P-Body. My partner over there is Atlas... but he has been acting awkward lately... Maybe because of Chell leaving?" he said, stopping to pause and remember her: Chell. I really liked her... P-Body thought, soon shaking himself to brush off the memory. "Need anything? We're just getting this last test finished before I lead Atlas to the other subjects..."

(Shipping.... ehehehehheh eue)

She glanced over at Atlas as P-Body spoke. To be honest, she'd be lying if she said that she noticed the shorter robot before P-Body mentioned him. After she was asked if she wanted something, she thought it over for a moment, then said, "Nope. I think I have everything I need right now." Having remembered that a cube fell out of the dispenser with her, she had a plan to smash at least one of Wheatley's screens with it while he wasn't paying any attention.

Shanelle took a deep breath as she removed the last bit of debris, noticing that some dust remained on the girl's face. She didn't want to wake her up, though, so she ignored it and looked at Apollo the turret. "Um," she began. "are you able to move on your own?" Her brown eyes glinted with curiosity as she awaited the turret's answer.

Parker tried to look around in the darkness, but it was very hard to see anything. Fortunately, he had his portal gun with him, so it provided some light. He tried to look at the female test subject he had recently met; due to the lack of light, though, he had to rely upon his memory. "What's your name?" he asked her.

(Sorry I haven't posted for a few days guys. My body is just so sore right now and I've been getting some headaches. I'll try to post more often. c:)

Fact Core

Fact sighed, but followed Adventure Core. He wasn't thrilled about following him, and in his head he kept thinking The Adventure Core is a blowhard and a coward. It made him feel a little better. Plus, it was better than hanging out with the Space Core. "Will you please stop that awful music?" he asked.

⇢ "The name's Kisha," she called,wishing once again that the man was closer. As she could see a little better, she placed a portal near him and another on the other side of the doorway she stood in, nearer to where the other test subjects were. She figured the man probably couldn't see her other portal, but she assured him, "I've got another portal near where I am. Just get to the one I put there." She gestured towards the visible portal, hoping he would be able to see that much.

↠ A mechanical whir could be heard as Apollo's eye shifted its gaze onto Shanelle. "No... I can't," he replied nervously. If he wanted to stay with the group of test subjects, he would have to get one of them to pick him up.

"Oh," Shanelle murmured quietly. To be honest, she had thought that maybe the turret would be able to move somewhat on its own being that it was different and all. Nelle pursed her lips in thought for a moment, thinking back to memories of her family in order to comfort herself. "...Apollo, what's it like being a turret?" she asked in a very soft voice, focusing her attention on him again.

Parker narrowed his eyes and tried to find the portal Kisha had been talking about. A few seconds later, he ended up seeing a faint ring of light, identifying it as the portal he was informed of. Then, he stepped through and ended up near the fellow test subject. "Thank you," he said with a slight smile.

↠ What was it like? That was an odd question. Apollo had never been a human, so how would he have anything to compare being a turret to? However, he tried his best to answer appropriately. "For the others--" here he meant the turrets without cores-- "It's... Lifeless. They shoot at any living thing that moves without a second thought." He paused, then continued. "For me, I get to be the defiant one... I won't shoot. I can, but-- I won't hurt something that hasn't hurt me." Apollo blinked, a very rare occurrence for turrets. "It's... Strange, being the first and last of your kind."

⇢ Kisha nodded and said, "No problem." She eyed the other test subjects and stared into the blazing fire. She was bored and anxious; all of this staying in one place was not what she was used to, and she was itching to get moving. "So... Do we have a plan from here?" She asked, to no one in particular.

↬ "Heh." The core ceased his odd tune, not wanting to especially annoy his only company. For a moment he thought he heard the familiar sound of a portal gun firing, but he wasn't sure... It could've been just the creaking and shifting of the building, as per the norm. Still, he stopped briefly. "You hear that?" He asked.
