Well, Cactus (I finally got your name right! Yay!) I'm torn between thinking this is the best day of my life and the worst day of my life. Why? WELL, LET'S FLASH BACK TO MY DAY AND FIND OUT! *does the flashback dance*

So, my day was going as usual: get tortured by Serena in English class, silently cry on the way to my next class, get pelted by dodge balls until I stop crying in gym class (meanwhile watching Xavier throw said dodge balls like a boss :P), go to Biology and try to talk to Raven (still not soliciting much of a reaction.), go to lunch and eat/ cry more while Serena tries to flirt with Raven (also not soliciting a reaction.) BUT THEN IT HAPPENED.

I was walking to my last class of the day and I was throwing my gym bag in my locker when I saw Serena standing over my her locker. She was having this big fight with Xavier. Of course, feeling nosy and glad to have an excuse not to get to class on time, I sort of hid behind my locker door, pretending to grab some books, but I was really listening in on their argument. (Gah! I'm so evil!)

I can't do this any more Xavier! -Serena
Can't do what? -Xavier
How blind are you! I mean, I can't keep this act up anymore! -Serena
What act? What are you talking about! -Xavier
This! I can't keep doing this! -Serena
You've got to be more specific! as a stereotypical football player, my brain has a smaller than average capacity! -Xavier
I can't keep acting like we're dating! I can't take it any more! -Serena
Acting? I thought we were really dating! -Xavier
Of course not! You're too stupid for me to keep dating you! I need a guy who's smarter than I am! Someone like Raven~ -Serena

Then, right on cue, Raven appeared around the corner, silent as a shadow. Serena glared at Xavier before walking off to meet Raven. Raven started talking, but they were so far away that I had to strain to listen.

Did you tell him? -Raven
Yes. -Serena

It wasn't until they walked off paw-in-paw that I realized it. SERENA BROKE UP WITH XAVIER AND WAS NOW DATING RAVEN! IT WAS SO TOTALLY UNFAIR BECAUSE I LIKED RAVEN FIRST AND I TALKED TO HIM FIRST AND RAVEN DIDN'T EVEN LIKE SERENA. FACE IT, RAVEN TOTALLY LIKES ME BETTER!

So, instead of actually taking my American History test, I laid there with my head on my desk, sobbed uncontrollably, and used the answer sheet as my tissue. My teacher just disregarded me and collected the tear-stained jumble of papers. He knew it wasn't unusual to have a mental breakdown during the middle of class. (Remember guys: I'm a total nerd who is studious, cares a lot about her grades, does her homework, studies diligently for every test, and passes every exam with flying colors. I have an A++ in that class.)

Oh yeah, and then I got a B on that test. I GOT A B I TELL YOU! THAT IS IMPOSSIBLE! It's not like I completely disregarded the test! SO I cried, lamenting my total failure at life, BUT THEN IT HAPPENED! NO, NOT THE LAST IT! A DIFFERENT IT!

I decided to walk home from school because I didn't want to have to ride the bus and hear Serena bragging about how she was dating the hottest guy in school. Then Xavier walked up.

Xavier, what are you doing? I'm trying to cry about how much my day stinks, and you really aren't helping. -Karma
Well, I have something to ask you. -Xavier
*sigh* Well, hurry up with it because I have to get home soon so my parents can yell at me for getting a B on a test and then I can cry some more about that. -Karma
It's a long story, but Serena broke up with my today because she thinks she'd rather date the mysterious new hot guy at school. -Xavier
I heard about that. Yeah, I heard. I wasn't eavesdropping or anything. I'm too good for that. I heard it from a friend- err, a friend of their friend. Yeah, I heard from them. -Karma
Anyway, I've thought it through and while there's probably tons of girls at our school that I could choose from, because I'm just that popular, and you're, well, not popular, but you're obsessed with me anyway. So, would you want to go to the Halloween dance with me? -Xavier
OMIGAWD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YES, YES OF COURSE! AGH! I'VE GOT TO CALL LAYNA SO WE CAN GO DRESS-SHOPPING! *runs into house* -Karma

SO SQUEEEEE I'M GOING TO A DANCE WITH XAVIER! That'll totally make me forget about Raven. Wait, who's Raven again? Ha, ha, you see what I did there? ;)
