Súrion let Horuss's hand slip slowly through his fingers, he delighted in making the boy uncomfortable and easily stepped a little closer entering his personal space. He indicated to the bright scratchies and then tilted his head in query.

Never peered over her shoulder and snorted catching sight of Súrion, 'I still can't come to grips that's actually Quaint.' he said feeling sorry for the young man.

Horuss swallowed and looked at the scrachies "did you, uh, want one?" he tried to step back but there was a wall behind him, a bead of sweat moved down his brow

Vicky hummed in agreement "thats a friend of Monicas I think, his brother and her sister are friends as well. All the Zahhak boys are tanks so Súrion had better make sure he doesnt push him too far"

Súrion moved his dark blue gaze to rest on Horuss's, he nodded slightly.

'He's fey, he can take care of himself even if it comes to physical contact.' Never said causally picking up another book on maths to put on the growing pile. 'We should spare the poor fellow though, he doesn't seem to be enjoying himself.'

Horuss gulped when the eyes came back to him, behind his glasses his eyes were the colour of the night sky, only broken by the cracks in his glasses. He swallowed and tried to push him back gently but in his nervosness it was more like a shove "I-I'll get you one then" he walked around the other side, pony-tail swinging, he tried to pick one up but made a rip in the papper "fiddlesticks!" he put it back and sttutered "please forgive my language I-I, o right you cant understand me, I uh-"
"Horuss" Vicky put a hand on the boys shoulder and he span in surprise "chill ok?" she smiled "he's just messing with you"

Súrion leaned against the wall watching the boy fumble around like a lunatic, he found it rather adorable and forgave him for the rough shove. His smile dropped however when Vicky came along but reappeared as soon as Never stood beside her. He spoke again raising his voice for Never to hear. Never's cheeks attained a pinkish hue as he stared at the fey incredulous. 'There is no way I'm translating that Súrion.' He said aloud in English and then repeated it to the cat using his sketchy telepathy.

Horuss looked at the group in bemusement "oh, um, hello miss Garret" he smiled cheerfully and Vicky winced slighly "yes, hello Horuss, and I think I did ask you not to call me that" Horuss looked down slightly "oh I must apologise, I'm a bale of nerves right now and I'm neighing on quite rudely, oh, who is your gentleman friend?" he looked at Never and smiled politely, trying to pull himself back together but he still seemed rather shaken up

Never drew his attention to Horuss and returned his polite smile. 'Jay Fairwood, but call me Never.' He said holding out a hand, 'and I apologizes for Súrion, he's. . .Well to be honest I can't find a word to describe him but don't get too flustered.' He said catching sight of Horuss's pony tail, 'love the hair by the way.' he said grinning.

He smiled nervously "uh, yes a rather unusual individual, but I by no means mean to offend you!" he directed the last part to Súron then looked back at Never, taking his hand, his grip was like a vise but he let go quickly "oh thank you" he smiled and pulled his pony tail absentmindedly
Vicky smiled "Horuss, Nevers coming into our school for the rest of the year, we're trying to get some books for him" Horuss smiled "well that's splendid! Perhooves we will share some classes!"

Never relaid Horuss's apology to Súrion who shrugged and replied, the fey jumped up onto the counter gracefully and watched on with an air of boredom.
'He says its fine.' Never's pitch rose uncontrollably when the boy's iron grip nearly crushed his fingers, 'By the gods you have a wicked grip.' he complemented rubbing his knuckles, 'yeah me too, I'm looking forward to the classes, it'll be all new to me.'

Horuss stuttered and backed up a bit when he hurt his hand "o-oh my ap-p-pologies, I didnt mean to hurt-" he backed up into a stand and knocked it over, he yelped in surprise and despair and leaned over to clean up "I'm so sorry!"
Vicky looked at him in concern, the last she had met Horus he hadn't been this clumsy, or this apologetic. Overly cheerful perhaps but he was different now, he was only giving polite smiles "Horuss.... are you alright?" the boy froze and looked at her, it was strange to see such a fearful look on a boy who looked like he could punch through a wall "I-I'm perfectly fine miss Garret, uh Vivian, uh! V-Vicky!!"
