Molly nodded slowly. "Maybe the dream meant something?" she suggested.

"Maybe," he said, then leaned into her, seeking comfort. Since his mom passed, he never liked to talk about her. He was walkways glad Molly never brought her up. But this was something he couldn't really avoid talking about. At least, not to her. He didn't want to tell Peter.

Molly wrapped her arms around him and held him, knowing that he needed comfort. This was probably huge for him, considering his mother had passed. "Do you want to talk about it?" she asked softly.

Charlie shook his head, hugging her back.

Molly nodded slightly and held him close. She kissed his head gently.

"Why did it have to be her?" He asked

Molly bit her lip. "I don't know, Charlie." It could have been him too, but she didn't want to say that. The thought scared her.

"Why couldn't I have been in the car with someone else?" He murmured into her shoulder.

"Someone else might have gotten hurt," Molly murmured quietly. She lowered her head to rest it against his, her lips in his hair.
