Molly yelped and fell off the couch in surprise. She'd nearly fallen asleep as well.

Charkie was sat up, breathing heavily.

Molly looked up at him, groaning and rubbing her head. "What the h*ll was that?" she grumbled, slowly sliding up to the couch again. When she saw the look on his face, she frowned in alert. "Are you okay?"

He shook his head, resting his elbows on his knees and rubbing his face. "She was here."

Molly frowned. "Who was?" she asked slowly.

"My mom," he said. "In my dream she was sitting right next to me. But then she... vaporized and I woke up."

Molly blinked in surprise. "You saw her in your dream?"

Charlie nodded. "Yeah. That's never happened before."

"Did she say anything?" Molly asked, scooting forward in interest.

"Nothing I can remember. We just sat and talked. It was all just chitter chatter." Charlie leaned back on the couch.
