"Not at all..." he responded, and opened the door. "Happy Birthday, Qīn'ài de rén..." he said, leading her in and shutting the door. A few banners would be hung up, with a cake in the middle of the room. Birds would flit around overhead, trilling an unfamiliar tune.

She blinked, a tune lulling into her ears. What was this? She cleared her throat and spoke. "It's beautiful." she said slowly, and walked further into the room. The cake was gorgeous, the birds sang beautifully. "Thank you." she smiled widely.

Zark blushed slightly. "D'awwww, it was nothin'..."

"Nothing?" Lexi rolled her eyes. "How is this nothing?!" she asked, glancing at the cake once more.

Zark just shook his head and laughed. "Nevermind...hungry?" he asked, procuring two forks.
