Zebulon nodded to himself, deceiding not to question about how she became blind further. Maybe he'd get to know about the cause of her blindness one day. "Thyla, huh? Do you mind telling me how you felt when you turned blind? Was it hard for you to adjust to the situation?"

Thyla shook her head. "Not really, I was still very young. I was. I was confused but then that was about it." she said, remembering the fateful day. She decided to sit down on the sidewalk, feeling feet brush by as Zebulon asked her the things.. Thyla was curious about why. Wasn't it perfectly normal to be different?

Zebulon hummed softly, taking in the new information before looking down at Thyla on the sidewalk. "Interesting... say, would you like to come to the bakery with me? I was about to get some food for myself and if you want to, I can buy you something, as well? It just looks horrible uncomfortable down there with all those people around us," the male suggested politely.

Thyla shrugged, standing back up. She didn't bother to brush off her clothes. "Alright, sounds good then." Thyla said, placing her hand on Zebulon's shoulder.

Zebulon carefully searched his way trough the crowd, watching out for Thylar so no one would bump into her again. Thankfully, the bakery wasn't too far away anymore, so he soon was able to push the door open and lead the girl in, the smell of various fresh pastries making him sniff the air in delight. "Is there anything you specifically like, Thyla? They have pretty much everything here."

Thyla shook her head. "Whenever I come here, it's always good. Everything is good, so no." she said, grasping a chair and sitting down. Her fingers found the table and began tapping lightly. Thyla blew her hair out of her face and sighed, content.

Zebulon nodded lightly and quietly stood in line, patiently waiting for his turn while his eyes looked over the various pastries offered for something he could buy Thyla. After another minute he finally was able to place his order. "I'll have my usual turkey sandwich and, hm... a piece of chocolate cake, please," he said calmly, watching as the woman behind the counter hurried to bring him the things he had ordered. He gave her a small smile as she handed him the sandwich and the cake, before he returned to sit down with Thyla. "Here you go, I hope you like chocolate cake," Zebulon said quietly, placing the plate with the cake in front of the girl and carefully handing her the fork.

Thyla heard Zebulon walk in to the line, soon returning with food. "Thank you Zebulon. I do love the cake here." she said softly, picking up her fork, breaking off a bit, then shving it in her mouth. Her eating strategy wasn't neat, but who cared? Not Thyla, at least.

Zebulon shook his head softly, taking a bite of his sandwich as his stomach complained about not being fed. "It's not a big deal. It would have been rude to not buy you anything, especially since I've been asking all those questions. If you don't mind, I have another one. How do you orientate yourself? Do you have better hearing than the average dragon or do you have some kind of sixth sense?"

Thyla shrugged. "I guess," she said, "my hearing, smell and touch is a bit better than others,
but not exactly a sixth sense." Thyla shoved another piece of cake in her mouth, crumbs sticking to her face.
"Well, I hear and smell my land marks, it's not too hard, but if I get lost, I just ask, I guess." Thyla set her fork down, sitting back.
