People are allowed to speak against it...? I have every right to post here, just because I don't agree with what you're posting doesn't mean I should have to shut up. :\
currently on hiatus.

I'd like to remind you that this is not only a petition, but also a
discussion. There are two sides to this issue; a discussion is not meant to be one-sided. What Cecil is saying is not spam, just the opposing side. You can't tell someone to shut up because they have a different opinion than yours. That's the whole point of free speech.

Agreed, I understand that everyone has their own opinion, and though I may not agreed, I will not tell anyone to shut up. However. I will not be told to stop complaining when I have every right to do so, and I am not complaining in the first place.
I am a holibomber!
I have gifted 148 people.
I have received 46 gifts. Hey guys, I've been around the internet for a while now, playing many games, talking to hundreds of people. I have made some great friends. But I have also seen people come and go. I have seen people going through some terrible things, and some of them just can't make it through. I just want everyone to know, that whether I have talked to you before, or if I have never even heard of you, I am here to talk is you need someone. I have been through some bad things, but I have managed to pull through this far with the help of some awesome people who are always there for me, I just want you to know, that I will always be here for you too. You can PM me on here, of course we could also talk about anything you like

Exactly, Cecil we are not asking to rp sexual acts or anything of the sort, we feel restricting and we are looking to be able to wstand on fair ground, a happy medium, not with the Sex or violence. I think the main issue with those rules is that they aren't exactly worded well and sound more strict than they really are.

I honestly don't see the big problem. I'm thankful for the one image rule because browsing the roleplay boards (especially the one on one search thread omg) on my phone is a huge pain. Plus, hey, roleplaying is about writing. Describe how stuff is. Do you get upset there aren't any pictures in novels?
If you want to roleplay certain content, go offsite. It's not really a big deal. There are literally a million active roleplay sites out there, plus chat rooms, email, and how easy it is to set up your own forum. I don't love the new restrictions, but I think considering the median age of the sites users, it kind of makes sense? If you have a thread on here, but feel a certain scene needs a little more sexual content or swearing or gore or w/e, open a tinychat or googledocs or something together, then come back? Eh.

I like having the pictures because it's interesting to see hwo poeple see their characters, and no I dont get upset that there aren't pictures in novels, but you know what I do? Go to sites like deviant art to see how people visualize the people and events of the book.
three pictures and allowing links wouldn't ruin anything, and its not just the pictures that would be slowing things down. People's signatures could be an issue too
