Silverfeather lashed her tail slightly side to side. Her bright blue eyes gleamed as she bushed out her long grey fur. "Up for a dash through the forest to the pond to stretch out our muscles?" She asked, tipping her head slightly hinting toward a challenge.

"Sure" Fadepaw replied

Silverfeather's eyes brightened. "Ready? Go!" She lunged forward, forpaws outstretched. Her tail streamed behind her as she pelted through the trees. She reveled in the feeling of the wind in her fur as her muscles rippled gracefully under her sleek pelt.

Fadepaw, with his shorter legs was still amazingly keeping pace, a little behind, but running at the same speed as Silverfeather.

Silverfeather leaped sideways around a bush and careened into the clearing around the pond, skidding to a halt mouse-lengths from the edge. She yelped as her hindpaw slipped and her hindquarters were swallowed by the pond. She flattened her ears in embarrassment. "I'm a bit clumsy." She commented, clawing her way out of the pond. She shook out her fur and parted her jaws, tasting the air with ears pricked staying wary of fox-scent.

"Hey um...can I talk to you?"Ravenclaw meowed to Ripplestar.

(Ack, sorry, I had an 8 hour shift at work today...)

Fadepaw appeared by the pond panting hard. He dipped his head for a drink and got smacked in the nose by a small minnow. "Ack!" he said while wiping a paw across his nose to rid it of the smell of fish. "Okay you win, but I have shorter legs!"

Ripplestar halted looking slightly surprised, but also   if she had expected something like this. "Of course, what is it you need to ask?" she questioned politely

Silverfeather purred shaking water from her pelt. "It's alright Fadepaw. Your a pretty fast runner you know. You'll make a great hunter." She commented, grooming her pelt dry. She glanced up at him and rose to her paws. She scented the air and motioned for him to do the same. "Notice anything?" She asked.

"Well...We have known eachother for a while,I mean,Since we were kits.And I was wandering if you will,um...be my mate?"he asked hoping she would say yes

"Nope, cant smell anything but fish and other prey." Fadepaw responded.

Ripplestar looked like she was going to laugh "Great Starclan Ravenclaw! I thought you were never going to ask!" Then her eyes softened "There is nothing I would like more." She gently rubbed her muzzle along Ravenclaws cheek.
