((AHG I'm super sorry I haven't replied I got dragged off to a land of no wi-fi with my family again))
{Michael}פ{James}
{On the beach with Harriet}{In the lake with Amber}
פ James surged forward in the water. Unlike every other sport he'd tried, James had always been a fairly good swimmer, but he quickly saw that Amber was better. Good naturedly, he laughed as she glanced back, as if waiting for him. He put on speed until he was only a few feet behind her. He grabbed hold of the side of the dock moments after Amber, and pulled himself up, water streaming down off of him. "You win." He panted softly, shaking his hair out like a dog. "You're a pretty good swimmer!" James ran a hand through his hair, trying, and failing, to put it back in order.
פ Michael blushed slightly as Harriet slipped her hand into his. "That sounds good." He nodded in agreement, smiling softly at her cute laugh. "Who knows with that boy?" Michael said in a teasing manor. "James has always been a little too awkward to ever make it past the friend stage." Michael confided, voice instinctivly lowered despite the fact that no one was close enough to over hear. He let her lead them along the beach, towards Verity, and he watched in shock as a boy who appeared to have come from thin air toppled over almost on top of her, setting off an extreme reaction in the girl.
