What is a Mutato?

In a rapidly changing world of rapidly accumulating toxic waste, Mutatoes take to the sky.
These creatures, affectionately dubbed Mutatoes, are a sad combination of an unknown creature, radioactive material, and a potato.
They live in the sky and consume UV radiation. They are the new era of Super Man.

At birth Mutatoes are about the size of a potato and can grow to around the size of a basketball.
Generally they are busy creatures who would prefer flying to being carried.
The Mutato is filled with the same kind of gases that its tail is made of.
These gases are currently unidentified, but are lighter than air- enabling them to fly.
They can stay in the air for a maximum of 20 hours straight before they need to land and "rest".
Though, when they can't be in the air, Mutatoes pace... a lot.

Yes, my second mutato as a Ga, I had fun with this! the theme is survival. I got the upper one's inspiration from Wall E, a kids movie.

~Reason for choosing the name
Well, the mutato's theme is survival and the one thing that keeps you going when trying to survive is hope. I just look at the beautiful leaf growing out of the rubble and the one thing it reminds me of is hope. Hope is not believing something will happen but knowing it will and making it happen. This beautiful mutato needs a beautiful name: Hope.

We call him that because

{Well, the theme was Survival, so I named my 'Tato after Itzchak Tarkay, an Austrian born Israeli painter and water colourist} {who survived the Holocaust (now deceased)}

Name of the Mutato; I would name this Mutato Life
Reason for Choosing the Name; The tail deign, like from Wall-E, a sprig of life in a place for where there seems no hope, led me to the idea of life. {also somebody’s already said they would name him/her Hope}
A Poem Relating to the Theme I decided to write a haiku based on what the tail design is based on

In amidst rubbish
Residing in an old boot
Lies a spurt of life
Extra; What I See in the Design; In the tail I can see Wall-E and EVE, amidst Wall-E’s piles of compacted rubbish, looking at the little green plant sticking up out of the dirt
In the body design is see a person in the ocean, like they've just been dumped from a height/ jumped into the water, surrounded by bubbles
