Hoard Discussion Thread

I find it awkward to look through the archives,
Because every time I do, I start adding pets to my wishlist like,
You become a hoard,
You become a hoard,
You all become hoards!

I already have about ten different pets that I am mini-hoarding, and at least fifteen more that I would like to.
I just have to wrap my mind around this better and start organizing.
I'm thinking about getting ten or so of each pet that I want... but I'm not sure x3

Does anyone have a good number of pets for a mini-hoard?

Does anyone have a dream hoard?
My favorite pets on the site are the Buckskin PPS, the Roadkill PPS and the Pink Punk dog.
It would be a dream-come-true to be able to have a small hoard of any of these three pets.
But sadly, I'm very certain that I don't have the fodder D:

I'm a huge fox/wolf lover so I'd love to hoard the hollyfoxes or the timber wolves on the list. I'd also love to hoard the BMDs as a sister hoard to my blue BMD hoard. Obviously none of these will ever happen D:

Does anyone have a dream hoard?

As in "a hoard you want to start", or "a hoard of dreamies"?
If I had the fodder to start any hoard I'd like, I would totally hoard CE Galaxies and July 08 Ice Rats.
But I don't think I could afford a second Main List hoard, and those rats are seriously hard to find.
I accquired my ice rat later than all of my other dreamies and minor dreamies.

I do hoard one of my dreamies, though - the Vixen Advent^^
They're an expensive hoard, but I simply love them so much, I'm willing to pay the cost.
I'm still shocked that it's such a successful hoard; I'd never have thought I'd even get ten, but by sacrificing my collection and getting a lot of help from friends it somehow... works x3

Oh, and good luck if you should decide to hoard the Shima Wolves x3
They might be hard to get/find, but I can definitely see the appeal of them <3

Does anyone have a dream hoard?

I have no ambition to hoard insanely rare pets, one each is enough for me, lol!
The closest I have is probably my collection of 26 of these:

I collected them when I was a relative newbie. I was really late to start trading for some reason, so as a noob, these were very, very, hard to get. The design is still one of my all-time favorites, and I wouldn't trade them for anything.

I suppose if I got really crazy in an OMG-I-got-3-UR-Tigers-on-December-18th mode, I would hoard Non-balloons. They're my favorite Rare-list pets, and it would be cool to have a page of them!

This really seems to be the perfect place for me xD

At the moment I have 17 (way too much xD) hoards, but at least three of them are already completed.

The question why I have so many hoards is easily answered. I only like certain desings so much that I really want to keep them and in the end I love them so much that I have to own more of them xD

The sizes are more or less different, my smallest finished hoard contains nine pets, my larges finished hoard 777. Don't now how far I will go with my remaining unfinished hoards thought.

So yeah.
I think I will be here many times in the future as I actually only hoard and go around gifting instead trying to get the whole CS pet collection.

i would love to have a hoard of these jelly dogs . once upon a time i had a nice amount of extras, & i would just keep them in my collection groups , hoping i could have enough to hoard . i sort of gave up on them , as they were hard to come by , & traded most of my duplicates away .


as well as that , i wouldn't mind having more ur aussies [ or as i like to call them , ur cookies c: ]

i think my dark grey tag husky hoard is a dream hoard of mine too , i would be complete if it hit 20 ~

I don't currently have any hoards of my dream pets, but if I had the fodder, I'd totally have a PeaPS hoard.
They're hands-down my favorite pets on site, but I hardly ever see them for trade. Coupled with insufficient fodder...
I know they're not VR, but I love them. I treasure the one I do have, and one is better than none! x3

Have you ever done a quantity auction for one of your hoards? How did it turn out?

I actually just finished an auction, not for my own hoard pet but for a friend and it turned out very well. :3
I like to set the auto low though and it was reached in no time.

They are all so pretty.Most of them are my dreams on here,so go figures XD I already have one cream advent,but it would be nice to start a hoard of them.But I'm just not sure,I wouldn't mind rare hoards,but a VR hoard might be too much for me.Though I love all of them.
