Chapter 1: Just A Normal Day~ My dog and I started down the long winding path into the forest. It was the place I favored going to. The only real place where I could be alone. I couldn't even be alone in my own house, let alone my room! That is why I come here.
~ My name is Kesed, and I'm 13 years old. I have blue hair and green eyes, and I go to an online school, and I don't like to be around people very much. I don't even want a boyfriend. I also only have one friend, and she's the only one I want or need - my dog, Ashy. Yep. Really.
~ Anyway, the day started off pretty normal. I had just argued with my mom and was now going to the place my dog and I loved to go to. Its the only place we like. We soon got to our little tree stump, and I opened the brown bag I'd been carrying. It contained our lunch. I pulled out some hot dogs and gave it to Ashy.
~ "Here you go, girl." I hand her the hot dogs and grab my own lunch out, after making sure she had them. Mine consisted of hot dogs as well, along with a can of pop. After setting my food on the stump, I pour some water into a bowl for Ashy. The sleek - furred german shepard laps it up happily. I pat her.
~ Looking up at the sky as I eat my hot dogs, I see something strange. A little white dot is floating around, and it seems to be in space, like, not right above me... but so far away.
~ I decided to ignore it and turned back to my hot dog. As I was eating, a sliver got stuck in my throat. It wasn't choking me, it just hurt. Very much. So I decided to cough, drink pop, continue eating, and puke. Nothing worked, so it would just have to stay there. Ashy looked at me and cocked her head, wondering what the hell I was doing. "What?" I said. She just turned back to her hot dogs.
~ I looked up again. The dot wasn't there anymore. So I dismissed the thought again, and we sat around doing nothing for awhile. Then we played fetch until dinner. Mom didn't care what I did, so long as I was back by dinner. Soap, we went back to the house.
~ We arrived just in time for dinner. Ben was setting the table. He's my brother. But he's also a total noob. Always in my diaries n' crap. Ashy went up to my room to sleep on my bed, as she always did at dinner time, and I went to help Ben set the table, because even though I hate him, Mom always expects me to help him with
everything, even the things he can and
should be doing himself.
~ "Whats up, Derp?" He asks. I hate that. Whenever he calls me that, I never respond.
~ We finished up the table and sat down, waiting for mom to bring the food over. Soon Dad came over. "Hey, Kesed, how's it goin'?" Dad liked me, at least. Mom was the boss, and she favored Ben, putting Ashy, Dad, and I down as omegas, basically.
~ "Pretty good," I say.
~ "Okay, here it is! Ben's favorite and mine - pork roast!" Mom says, putting the roast on the table.
~ "That looks delicious, Honey!" Dad says. Yet Mom acts like he hasn't spoken. He doesn't seem to relize, and if he does, he doesn't care. Or so it seems...
~ The hot dog chunk was still stuck in my throat, but I simply ate the pork, hoping it would push it down. Then the ground started to shake.
