I also think the nursery artists should open their slots whenever they want - I mean, they're the ones who are going to do the adult refs when the time comes, so they should be able to open their slots when they are ready to open them, and when they actually have some free time to do the litters.
I also think that the artists on the main thread should be able to choose if they want to be a nursery artist or not, I don't think there should be only 6 artists. Now I know some of you might say but that means more baby JMD's will be running around. But I think that is a good thing in a way, because who doesn't love baby JMD's?
My last point, is about choosing forms. I mean, people like me have been waiting for months to post a form for a certain couple. I actually got my form in on time, and then no one is doing it now. I mean, that's completely no fair. I've been waiting for Aray babies for ages, and now I find out that probably no artist is doing them. I woke up at 5am to post the form, I got a spot, and now no one is doing the breeding. I know this must've happened to other people before, and it isn't fair that we have to wait while a form that was posted too late/a form that wasn't even posted gets chosen. That's almost like your separating some people into one group and putting the rest into another, and it is also biased. Its completely not fair for people who were actually able to post their form in time.
Now, I don't care if I get hate messages for this, but I was just putting my opinion out there. If you don't like it don't comment on it.
As easy as it would be to say, that's how the nursery worked, get over it. I'll at
least try to satisfy your need to complain on the FC instead of just PMing me.

I have already considered doing so, but it it a lot easier said than done. In just this nursery opening alone I've received 20+ PMs from people just within 10 minutes. Most of which were complaints. Even if I were to open it more often there will still be people posting in the FC, "Oh I didn't get a slot I'm taking a break from the community, ect. ect." and angry PMs from others whom didn't get a slot. Regardless of the time between breedings. Probably even more so due to the need of adult refs also having to be produced at the same time for other growths. It would honestly just be putting a lot more pressure on myself to keep up with it all.

Now. Onto artists opening and closing their own.
I can tell all of you that even if I were to make a new thread and get all artists together and magically make it work, many
people will still just complain about not getting a slot, or about their desired artist not being available/not accepting their
forms– and of course staffing changes. Amazing staff changes. Plus the fact that some artist may just completely forget
about the nursery, or whatever. It's happened with main artists, and therefore that person may take over one more to open
a slot.
Oh and of course adult references. It's fun to make the babies, but making an adult reference seems take forever. That just
means more confusion. More babies, more babies needing adult refs, more JMDs requesting breeding that don't even meet the qualifications set to help limit the out break of breedings.
If that system were to go into place, any given artist could produce 5+ litters every day given the time it takes and time
available. If there were still the current number of artist stayed that'd be about 30 litters. 2-3 babies per litter.
Yes I know some of you are like, "psh whatever 30 litters sounds awesome, screw this." Well it's not. All of those litters will come with at least 1 complaint from someone who's litter wasn't done, or is mad because of something not the artists fault (no, I'm not making this up– it happens way to often even in the oh-so-perfect-JBD-nursery you all just love to refer to. They have an actual CS staff member on their staff to remove that stuff. Even with the very strong intimidation factor.) Along with the 60-90 adult refs that would have to be created like clockwork.
Lastly changing the system doesn't force the artist to do your breeding right when you post your form. It just puts it in their own agenda.
I'm sorry that you guys do not like the system, and I know it has flaws, but so does the system you are all suggesting.
If the artist who accepted your form has not done your breeding yet then just send them a friendly reminder.
If you have problems, comments, or concerns with it then PM myself, don't spam up the new FC about it.
