This is going to be a very strange-sounding question I'm sure but... how many of each rarity pet would be hoarded to increase demand enough to make it to lowest tier advent? In percentage. I'm quite curious. x3 I figure OMGSC would have to have a LOT hoarded... maybe like 90% of all of that outcome? Or more.

If you ask me, both sides of it make since, I think at the least it should sit near the top of the sept. list, because of the rarity, but I can see it immediately going back down when Dec. 18 hits, but as the speckled rats it will go back up. this is at least my reasoning for why it should move up, but I just don't quite think having it as a low main list is good until demand with the new rarity is observed more. because that tag, whether or not a person likes the pet means a lot to users.
I see in trade rules
"To get my first OMGSR"
"To gift/ be gifted an OMGSR"
The tag holds power even if the demand of the pet doesn't. from my experience it has been easier to trade a speckled rat with an OMGSR tag then it was to trade a WWA, or a UR grape then an yellow toxic or an UR apple

hoards have little to do with it, it is overall availability, if you think about it I own 200+ of the Burmese 2nd gen, yet tons still have them for trade they are common, I doubt when I get 1000 they will even be considered to be "rare's list" worthy, the reason I mention my hoard is they are not in circulation and I continue to amass more and more, yet they still exist, I don't delete them to raise rarity ( I don't see why I would anyway...)

That's not what they're asking. ^^ I'm pretty sure they're saying DEMAND wise would it be raised. And dang, you'd definitely have to hoard A LOT of omgsc pets, since there are SO many in circulation. I doubt it's event possible. But, theoretically, if someone was able to hoard that many pets(like I said, pretty much impossible) then yes, I could imagine that if that person just kept them and never traded them, then there would be fewer in circulation and people would want it more. Once again, it's darn near impossible though.

Thanks Becquerel, that was what I was asking. ^^ I'm doing a 200K hoard (they're VC, they were OMGSC when I started, but oh well) and though it might take me years to complete I'm very interested in observing the effect on the economy. x3 Other than the number of pets, 200K, I'm not really shooting for any particular goal although it would be cool for them to have so much demand it would be worth rares list. Onwards in the pursuit of
impossible goals knowledge!

You wouldn't have had to search, just read the first post that you're supposed to read before posting, where it plainly says "The pets are listed in order of most to least valuable."

I'm sure it's all in discussion-I guess people were right (browsing through older posts) about the Dark Heart Rat being so rare. Right now, I would presume they're going to see how much higher it'll go for with the rarity change before advancing?
