Have you ever done a quantity auction for one of your hoards? How did it turn out?

Yes, I auctioned a '09 rare lion for some Hoardies (the Galaxy Cats and the Blue Pheasant) but it didn't turn out that good. xD I got bad bids with only 5-10 pets per bid.

Aww that's annoying.
I was really lucky when I auctioned off my white sortic, as I got 279 staff dogs of 2012. Hopefully my monkey auction will turn out just as well, but I doubt it :p

I've been working on my PPS hoard a lot lately.

Just a few days ago I started to hoard these guys: Hoard 1 & Hoard 2 Now they're uncommon. I hoped to get all pets before the rarity turns out. It's a bit difficult to get them, I think.

I liked both of those so I have 3 of the BW for trade and 23 of the dogs for trade if you want to check it out? c:

In other news I grabbed a BBMD from the pound this morning. Up to 106 now :3

Also, thanks to a friend of mine, my Requiem For the Light Hoard hit 400 earlier the day.
That's still not even half of the goal, but I'm very happy to see it grow so rapidly now.
It progressed much slower during the last months because I just had too many hoards to focus on one,
but now that I'm slowly catching up and completing some, the big ones are moving faster x3
It's sister hoard is close to the 400, too!

Edit: Annnnnnnnnd my Rabenwall Hoard is finished, too~ <3
12 more hoards to go!

I also decided to stop my Bakery hoard for now. It's at 6000 pets and I think that's a nice number.
I'd like to focus more on my other hoards now, but might continue this one to 10k at some later point.^^

Quantity Auctions? I did one once, I think it was a Patchy store dog or something - for bwolves.
It went really well, but nowadays I don't really feel like auctioning off my rares for common hoardies any more,
seeing how I have a few rare hoards that need to be paid for, too xD

I just finished my 92 days of summer 2013 hoard

Which means that my last pet hoard is completed.
I guess I`ll start paying more attention to my item hoards which I have been neglecting for some time

Have you ever done a quantity auction for one of your hoards? How did it turn out?

I've tried. None have ever gone well. People just don't want to spend the time/pets trading for pets to offer if there's no guarantee they'll win.

I've thought about allowing people to just bid numbers, and giving whoever wins a couple of weeks to trade for the required number of pets, but that seems like a pain.

I've done a couple and most have gone really well ^^

It was for C$ before it was tradeable, so people still really wanted it in large quantities. When I tried to auction an advent for quantity, there was no takers since it would take so many of the dogs :c
