Aww man, what a cool thing to come back to. This looks really great and is certainly going to make accessing a lot of pages easier, thanks so much!
The only issue is that it's a little touchy on mobile for me, because that doesn't really allow for mousing over things. I don't use CS mobile because the layout of that is really off on my tablet.

I know, it will take a while to get used too.
I wasn't complaining about how the moderators were doing, (I realize it looked like that) I was mostly complaining about the lack of on topic-ness of the writing forum. I haven't even noticed if they're gone or not.
So we *are* supposed to post our character threads in the character section of the RP forum? Or do only RP characters go there? I'm assuming the second one.
I completely used a word wrong in my other post. XD I'm going to edit that.

Am I the only one who LOVES the new RP rules? I might not participate in RP on this site but I still read them sometimes and all those pictures are insanely annoying and slow everything down. Thank you Tess and Nick! The new site looks amazing!

if you don't use your characters for roleplaying then it would be fine to keep them in the regular creativity boards, but you might want to include something like "(Non-RP characters)" in the topic title so that moderators don't accidentally move it

@ Sheiden:
Haha, I like them too. I read them even though I'm not currently role playing. (I just like things to read.) I'm especially happy about the requirements on content for pictures. I'm pretty much in agreement with all the rules. I'm surprised people were actually doing some.

Oh, okay, thank you for the clarification.

It was probably pretty obvious in the first place, but I didn't get it at first.
Like I said, I really like the change, I'm happy it went through. Especially the Oekaki and forum stuff. ^^

(this is not targeted at anyone in particular)
For those of you who are upset by the strictness of our roleplay rules - please remember that this site has always been a family-oriented website with strict content rules and a large proportion of our members being children or young teens. I know and understand that the rules on things like romance and violence will be too strict for some members' preferences - I'm an adult too - but for those people there are just hundreds and thousands of other roleplay websites you can use which aren't targeted at young children. If you choose to roleplay here then please follow our rules. If you don't like the rules then please roleplay elsewhere.
It's a pretty common trend for people to join CS when they're young, enjoy the light-heartedness of it, and then as they grow older they feel like it's all turned to crap and is totally babyish and dumb. Well, it really doesn't change that much over time, you're just older and have different values and interests. It's normal to grow out of things. That doesn't mean the site has to or should grow along with the "first generation", as we have new children and teenagers joining us every day that we are still catering towards.
It's not possible for one site to please everyone, and we are well aware that we're not the ideal site for people who want to post mature material in the forums. We never have been that site.

I am actually pretty okay with the Role Playing Rules. They are well balanced and not too strict.
Good RP stories are NOT full of inappropriate stuff, which are usually not needed to make it neat. That's what I think. c;
