I am really, really disappointed with this event.

Almost half of the pets are rare. Half. Did the staff not predict rarity outcomes? Did they not look at the percent chances of acquiring each token and think "Hmmmm, these tokens are way too hard to get?" This is a serious problem for the trading economy. I get that the omg so common uni-rats from the 2011 event are a problem, but I'd rather have to go after a bunch of common, uncommon, and even very common event pets with little to no demand on the market than a hell ton of uncommons and rares with lots of demand on the market. As it is, people will shortly be back to paying List pets for a couple of event rares.

This event was just... just a flop. I'm sorry, CS, I am. But someone, somewhere, made a huge mistake, and that's how everything spiraled into this sinkhole of disasters and despair.

I can understand some of your points, but calling it a "sinkhole of disasters and despair" just makes me laugh.

I'm actually pretty happy with it. I managed to get all the pets and it wasn't that hard to trade for any pets I was missing. I think the pets are really beautiful, some of the best looking pets I've seen, and a lot of them will make my favorites group. Also, many people prefer to have rarer pets than common ones, unless they're hoarding. People don't have to pay list pets if everyone else is being reasonable about it, if they try to trade fairly they will eventually get the pets they need. The items for this event were also wonderful, I don't usually use items, but these were fantastic. Overall I thought this was one of the best events, I love challenges and I'm glad it wasn't that easy to get all the pets.

When I saw the rarities for the summer pets, I was just like:
Damn, shoulda gotten more!
But then they wouldn't of been the rarities they are if I had
And I am very proud I got them all!

I think the event was great. The fact that you want to trade for the pets at all prove that the pets at least were good. Calling it a flop because just because you missed it (or have to trade for some other reason) isn't very nice

Well, I'm actually happy with this chunk of trading fodder. At least I don't have to wait till 18 december to get another rare...

I'm glad most of them turned out rare^^
yes, I am still missing quite a few....
(should have collected more earlier, even though I missed out on many hours/days worth of banner collecting xD)
but look at this as a chance for newbies to trade for higher stuff, considering that many 09 rares are
going very rare now it will be harder for them to obtain these pets.
I know I definitely took advantage of demand to boost me up some, or else I would get nowhere
with my dreamy quests to be honest.
and we can't always expect each pet (events or regular adopts) that comes out to all turn into uncommon and below
with 1 or 2 rares at most. If anything it balances it out more, seeing that 09 pets are filled with rares-vrs
& 2013 will have several rares as well, rather then having almost none at all (not counting store pets)

It's traditional for token and banner pets to turn uncommon/rare.

Don't forget that this was a primarily token-based event. Other events like Easter, Halloween and Christmas have adopt pets as well as token pets, so the adopt pets turn common/vc while the token pets turn uncommon/rare. The Summer event only has token and banner pets, so that is why there aren't any common/vcs.

I loved the event O; I got all the event pets;
I'm actually very proud of myself for hoarding the pet I did.
It is now rare and I have about 20+
( sorry if you do not like hoarding )

and I must say the dream couple was hard to find at the end.
And among that I was expecting the sandpile pets to be a little higher rarities
and of course the lions as well

And with some pets it wasn't that they were hard to get; everyone wanted them and
expected big rarity outcomes. Which is why I think it made it a bit harder to get some XD
