I read it....I didn't think it was that good. (But then I'm weird like that, as I don't like the 'popular' books, like Twilight/Harry Potter, even though they are in my genre.)

It sounds good. Maybe I will try it out sometime. ;)

I was trying to get into the book Inkspell in the Inkheart trilogy, but even though I have read Inkheart, it just didn't catch my attention. So now I am just re-reading another book. :)

Book(first in Series): Leviathan
The other books: Behemoth, then Goliath

Author: Scott Westerfield

Description:

This is a story set in 1914, the year of WW1, this is not the ordinary Allies vs. Axis powers. this is the Darwinists, animal fabricators, and Clankers, the masters of machinery. On the Darwinist side of this War(what we know as the Allies), Deryn Sharp, A girl of 15, joins the army disguised as a boy, Dylan Sharp. She was going to be a fighter, training with everyone else, but is blown away in a Huxley(what we would think of as a hot air balloon) and drifts half way across London. She thought she was done for, but Deryn is saved by the most famous flying beast to the Darwinists-the Leviathan. She joins the crew as a midshipmen, and sails with them.

On the other side of this war, the Clankers, Alek Hohenburg, the son of the Archduke Ferdinand, is thrown into the wilderness when one of the counts of the residence, tells him that his parents were killed that night. He pilots a storm walker(like a walking tank) into the forest knowing that he is on the run from Germans.

at some point, these two stories collide, when Alek saves Deryn from the crash of the leviathan. soon, the two enemies befriend each other, and go on many adventures together, once they get the leviathan back in the sky. definitely a good series if you are the action-type, with a little bit of romance mixed in. I loved it!!! plus, there are some pictures drawn by keith Thompson every 20 pages or so. they are wonderful! i am so obsessed!

protégé of batman wrote:Hello!
Title: the graveyard book
Author: Neil Gaimen(the man who wrote coroline)
Other books in series: no other books
Genre of the book (fantasy, action, adventure): fantasy
Anything I should know first?: the very beginning is confusing as ever, but just go along with it. and, as plainly stated on the cover, this will involve ghosts, creepy creatures, and other monsters of that world.

I loved that book! :D

Here's my suggestion:

Title: Death Note: Another Note, the Los Angeles BB Murder Cases
Author: Nisioisin, concept by Tsugumi Ohba & Takeshi Obata
Other books in series: Sort of? Not directly linked is the Death Note manga series, and L: Change the World. There's also a couple movies.
Genre of the book: Mystery, Detective, Fantasy..
Anything I should know first: The book includes gory details, although it doesn't have much profanity, and zero sexual content. It does have what some people may call a dark premise. I personally enjoyed the book, although the cross on the front is unsettling at first (coming across slightly blasphemous at first) it doesn't have anything to do with religion, only the fact that crosses are put on gravestones, and therefore represents death. It would probably be more enjoyable for those who've read the Death Note manga or watched the Death Note anime (Not that somebody who hasn't wouldn't enjoy it).
Hey everybody - I'm quitting so if anyone wants free pets send me a trade!

Hello!
Title: The Fault in our Stars
Author: John Green
Other books in series: (in order please)
Genre of the book (fantasy, action, adventure): realistic fiction
Anything I should know first?: (if this book is not for young readers or cussing is heavy please don't suggest it): This book is for kids around the 7th and 8th grade age group. It's a very loving book, and ever so good. but prepare the tissues, kids. this ones gonna be a doozy. if you've never cried in a book, you're gonna sob. and if you have, you are gonna be sobbing harder than ever before. you have been warned.
