This update is very useful I'm so happy that you guys did this! The new reference photos are a great idea for beginners and people practicing realism. A lot of newer artists don't seem to really know that they usually can't reference a photo unless given permission, so hopefully this will cut down on a lot of art theft around the site! I've already seen a bunch of people link back to photos from the gallery they are using to help them draw. I also really love the new weekly challenge it's a really fun idea and I'll probably get back into doing some art on the oekaki now because of it, it's been ages since I've drawn something on here. I also love the new navigation it makes it a lot easier to get to pages in one click that I'd otherwise have to go through other pages to get to.

I'm like dying of happiness here!!! I just want to flail around on the floor because I have no other way to express my excitement for the new site update! Everything is so streamlined and easy to find now! The ability to see what items I own without having to open a trade or search through the Archive is AWESOME. Being able to look at my profile and my Oekaki drawings without having to search my Bookmarks for a post I made so I can click on my name is AWESOME. The fact that the roleplays have gotten their own section of the Forum and the roleplay categories have been expanded is AWESOME.

I'm also a big fan with the changing of the pregnancy rules in roleplays. I visibly cringed every time I saw there was another teen pregnancy roleplay. Teen pregnancy is a topic that should not be taken so lightly, and by being so prevalently roleplayed on a child friendly website...it was certainly not being taken seriously. I'm sorry if you think otherwise, but I'm not here to fight. I just wanted to put my two cents in.

The only two changes I don't like are that the Pound and my C$ balance are now under tabs and not readily visible anymore. I liked being able to glance at the top of the screen and see how much C$ I had. But I'll get used to it eventually. :3 The other changes are so wonderful that these little minor details aren't really all that bad.

This is my first time on today and WOW, whata shock! 0.0
I am really excited about the new changes and the reference gallery is awesome! Although i didnt see a problem with the way the site was, I am going to miss the little wooden signs at the top of the page and itll take me a little while to get use to the change but all in all, I like it!
I think its easier to move around the site now exspecially in the Archives and being able to view your items without going into a trade is wonderful
Everyone who helped in the changes/upgrades did a really awesome job! So ill give you all a virtual pat on the back ^^

Edit: I do think that the new 'Home, My stuff, Adopt, Forums, Store, Archive, Art and help' at the top of the page would look a little better in some sort of color instead of just being white.. Just my opinion though ^^

There was a small amount of discomfort that people expressed over the new RP rules and the inclusion of rules for PM roleplays. Some people feel uncomfortable about the idea that the staff can read their PMs, although this has actually always been the case (for Admins, not Mods, I think? I believe Mods still can't access PMs?) and is not done unless the Admins deem it necessary.

I think it would be helpful for everyone if there was a default setting for literacy. Since everyone's definition is different, it'd be handy to have a site-wide agreement.
For example, semi-lit would be 100 words and over, and literate would be about 400 words. Or something. We could even have a poll.

Oh I love the new set up, so clean and easy to use!

I checked out the roleplay board, and it looks great and I like the divisions. Though, are you guys all hand putting the RP's now onto where they belong in the new divisions? Cause i'd suggest maybe cleaning out the RP boards of old topics to make everything easier for the move c:

It'll take us a couple of days to get the topics moved into the right boards, but thanks for the suggestion, it certainly does make sense.

Alright, cause removing super old topics from years ago, and topics that have been locked awhile ago should be removed. It'll make things a bit cleaner and less work for all of your moving all of the threads! c:
