Big site update!

It's about time we got rid of teen pregnancy based role plays!
I was tired of looking through the forums and seeing "omg you just got pregnant with harry styles what will you do!"
Also, I like the drop down menu a lot. There are some pages I didn't even know existed/know how to get to.
The new Oekaki forums are excellent, and I intend to go check them out soon.

Wait so you can't have teen pregnancy rps anymore? Because that would be amazing if that wasn't aloud. Children and teens shouldn't be roleplaying about getting pregnant without being married. It's just nasty.

The main reason I didn't like it is because like 99% of the people on here role played it because to them it was just another topic, when actually teen pregnancy can cause serious issues like emotional/physical damage, not being able to support the child, not being able to get a good education because you're trying to support the child, and it seriously ruining the life of the mother, her child, or anyone else.
And the people on here most of the time didn't so much as mention that. They didn't know how to role play that subject because all they cared about was baby making with their favorite celebrity.
And about the marriage thing... it's sort of more of a religious matter and isn't really necessary in everyone's eyes to begin a family, but I'm not going to get into that because this thread is about site changes and not unrelated personal beliefs xD
And I know a lot of other people felt this way about the RPs, and I'm glad the CS staff listened. They're really starting to change the site and it's absolutely wonderful!

Well, that's a different matter - and you'll have to remember that not everyone will deem marriage absolutely necessary for anything from a relationship to having children ;)
I don't have a problem at all with people who aren't married, but I do think it's not appropriate for a kids side to include teen pregnancy RPs (or, for that matter, the -I think- equally banned slave RPs.), so I'm glad the rules are more strict on that now.

I just love all the new Oekaki boards!
Especially having a board for collabs and
gift lines.
Now if we could get that free art board. XD

Oh, and about the one image only rule.
I still don't agree with it.
Yes, it helps keep forums less sluggish,
but people can do a lot to make forms look neat
with several pictures.
I just think that people should just..
I don't know, not go overboard with it?

Yeah, I'm religious and I can see why other people that aren't part of my religion would think it's okay to have children and not get married.

Anyways I really like the OC board for the oekaki; I'm making my first OC that actually looks like me lol

You can now see the items that you own without having to start a trade! That's in your "My Stuff" menu.

YES YES YES!!! THANK YOU SOO MUCH!!

It's going to make taking a mental inventory much easier!

Lots of nice changes c: it'll take a few days to get used to it but shouldn't be too long. My favorite changes are probably the ability to view your items while not having to be dressing up a pet and being able to click straight to your profile. Really convenient c: The organization of the links works very well, and I feel like they've all been broken up into appropriate groups. Mostly I just have to get used to the pound page not being a main link XD

The stock photo gallery is also really generous of the staff to put up- I probably won't use it too much but it'll be nice to know that it's there if I do need it. I'm sure lots and lots of members will use it c:

Will the mobile site get this update? Right now it us still the same and since this is my only means of internet through my phone I hope that it can get updated too. If just the menu options.

I read the rules and they changed quite a lot, and I agree with all of them.
Maybe this change wasn't as bad as I thought it was before

I have ocd and changes are not my thing and I actually quite dislike this update. The drop down menus just annoy me quite a bit. They have always annoyed me on any site and I was glad cs didn't have them.. but I guess that has changed. The site was fine before, and adding new things just makes it too complicated for me. Plus it makes it hard on my phone with the menus. I liked seeing my c$ balance without having to scroll over "store."
Sorry but this might decrease the time I actually spend on cs unless there is a way to go back to the old site.
Unlike everyone else, this update does -not- get my vote.
