It kinda is- the RP rules are over the top now, people are having to change characters just to make sure they don't get banned. Its ridiculous.

Yes but remember what Foopets did? They just completely deleted the RP forum. it's still open here though. There are rules set for a reason, to make sure nothing gets too inappropriate.

They're changing and adding new rules to promote the security of all users. It might be bothering you, but it's necessary to keep a site with this many users safe for all ages, and to be able to keep everyone comfortable. I for one have been on CS for a very long time now, and find that as they continue adding and changing things it has become a more friendly, enjoyable place for me to relax and make new friends.

It's not that good guys- everything is kinda going downhill. EVERYTHING is being controlled- private messages? Not anymore, CS is watching them too. And now the pictures is a big no no, how are we supposed to have good RP's when everything is just being controlled to the limit? Whats next CS- drop down boxes with replies in them? Because that's what it feels like it happening.

This is FooPets all over again.

The staff is only doing what needs to be done to make sure the users of this site keep to child friendly content. You should be well-aware that by joining a site that is openly enforcing a child-friendly policy, you won't get to RP 18+ content.

By the way, PMs could always be read by the Administrators, the point is that they usually don't do it, though - only if they have reason to assume you're breaking the rules in them or it's otherwise needed to resolve a conflict.
If you want to RP explicit or overly violent scenes, perhaps you'd like to take those things to E-Mail (for example if you're looking to RP with a specific user you met on here), or another site altogether. There are thousands of roleplaying forums out there, many of which won't have the restrictions that CS has.

And I always thought a good roleplay, like a good book, is about the writing skills of the authors?
If your roleplaying skills are sufficient, one picture will do ;)

CS is growing as a community, so naturally change is very much needed every once in a while.
I've seen people complain about every single change that has been made to the site so far, but in the end it has always been for the greater good.
Sometimes individuals have to accept restrictions in order to make the experience better for the community as a whole.

You can now see the items that you own without having to start a trade! That's in your "My Stuff" menu.

I must say, I love this. Very very much. It would have been so useful during the summer event, and I'm certain it will be very helpful in the future too. The Pound link moving will take some getting used to, but I'm sure I'll adjust to it. I don't use the roleplay forums or the Oekaki, so I don't have strong opinions on those changes. Overall, I am very happy with these updates. Thank you!

@Shiro Tora I am not being ungrateful- but when you start to lose the site that really matters to you you start to get angry and upset. The rules stated "fade to black or go to PM" so that's what we did and now that's wrong.

Oekaki is glitching. Like, I'll try and load it, but the box where the canvas usually is, when I scroll up and down it just drags in little bits, kinda glitchy like smoothly across where the canvas should be.

i know i read at least one post from an admin that it is against the rules to go to pm. most roleplay rules stated this, and they were wrong.

i was on foopets, trust me! i was there when there was an owner switch and everything. especially when the red husky came in and people went ballistic. or they were angry, probably both. but, foopets had to close down the roleplaying because there was inappropriate happenings, and copyrighted pictures always being used. they didn't have a choice, since they had already enforced them. it's just a price to pay. tess and nick aren't stripping away the fun, younger kids roam the forums and they are trying to make it safe for their eyes. also, copyrighted pictures could get cs shut down, and tess and nick fined.

i agree with the format, i love it. plus, i absolutely love the advance forum, though i can already see people who aren't advanced joining. not naming names, but i still love the new forum.
