Jer muttered, smirking as he tried not to yawn.

"Ok," Sayla said, getting up with her.

Vesp looked at Sayla, but sighed and walked over to Alarion, who looked too happy to see her. An older boy sat next to Alarion, but he didnt speak. Alarion jumped up after Vesp whispered something, and disappeared around the corner.

Aeonus arched an eyebrow at Jer. "Sooo... how was dinner with Rose?" he snickered.

"It wasn't dinner," he mouthed so rose wouldn't see, rolling his eyes at him as he shrugged.

"Is he getting some?" Sayla whispered to Vesp as she joined Sayla, glancing at Alarion as he left nd then to the quieter older boy, and then back to Vesp.

Vesp nodded, looking at the older boy who nodded hello. Alarion came back a few seconds later with a couple blankets. He handed two to Vesp, then one to the older boy. Vesp turned and handed Sayla a blanket, after thanking Alarion.

"Close enough." Aeonus smirked.

"Thanks," she said to them, nodding to the other boy as she took the blanket from Vesp.

"Nope," he laughed, shaking his head. "What makes you say that?"

Vesp shot a look at the older boy, who meekly nodded. She walked over and sat where she had been, draping the blanket over her.

"Say what?" Aeonus muttered.

She smiled and then followed Vesp back to her chair, wrapping the blanket around her as she sat back down.

"What you just said," he muttered with a sigh, rolling his eyes.

Alarion walked up to Vesp and tugged on her arm. "Emeriss said to-" he was cut off by his mother swooping in and scooping him up in her arms. Vesp laughed lightly and looked back at Sayla.

"You know what I walked in on." Aeonus scowled.

Sayla laughed as his mom took him. "I wonder what he was gonna say," she muttered, smirking.

"That wasn't dinner, we weren't even eating," he smirked, thinking of Rose kissing him.

"Emeriss wants to talk to me." Vesp said, laughing softly as Alarion was dragged back.

Aeonus bit his lip, then burst out laughing.
