She nodded and glanced at the boy who seemed to be waving at Vesp. She smirked and let out a small giggle. she covered her mouth with raised eyebrows as she looked back up at Vesp.

"I knew it," he muttered under his breath, smirking.

"That's Alarion. He's like six, and completely adores me and... my brother." Vesp murmured. "He doesnt know about my brother, so dont tell him if he comes up."

"Oh, shut up..." Aeonus snickered.

"Ooh, I'm sorry," she said, glancing back at Alarion with a smile.

"Nooo way am I being quiet," he laughed, shaking his head playfully.

Alarion got up and ran over to Vesp, giving her a hug. "Vesperon, where's Syth?" he asked in an adorable little voice. Vesp panicked. "He's on a trip," she said softly. "He wont be back for a little while." she told him and looked up at Sayla.

Aeonus chuckled quietly, hissing when it hurt him. "Right." he muttered.

"Ya, for a long while," Sayla added as the little boy came up. "But he's safe."

"Ook, you shouldn't be talking anymore," Jer muttered with a smirk, "because whenever you do, you get pain."

"Aww, I miss Sythrios! He's been gone for two weeks!" Alarion complained as he climbed up and sat in Vesp's lap. "You'll see him in time." Vesp mumbled, forcing herself to stay strong.

"I said I'm fine." Aeonus growled.

Sayla shot Vesp a look as Alarion climbed up on Vesp's laugh, confused. She sighed and raised her eyebrows at her.

"Yaa, don't blame me when you get in more pain then by being stubborn," he muttered under his breath.

Vesp had no expression on her face at the mention of her brother. Alarion looked at Sayla. "Who're you? Are you Vesperon's friend!" he asked brightly, completely unaware.

Aeonus laughed lightly, barely wincing.

"Yes, I;m a friend of Vesperon, she answered, glancing at Alarion with a small smile. "My name is Sayla."

He just rolled his eyes with a smirk, sighing.

"Hi Sayla! I'm Alarion." he said, smiling widely. Vesp had her jaw clenched as she looked away from them, her calm facade breaking a little.

Aeonus sighed in relief as the pain faded away. "So annoying, those pain spells..."
