Zebulon was on his usual morning routine whenever he didn't have work, which involved getting a sandwich from the local bakery. Sure, he was a good cook, but he usually allowed himself to be a little lazy on his free days. After all, he always cooked his own dinner, unless he was very busy, so buying a sandwich in the morning was okay. He headed down the streets towards the bakery, earplugs in and humming quietly to one of his favourite songs. Like always, he had his amulet around his neck, the imperial topaz shimmering in the pale light of the morning sun. Absent mindedly, he crossed a corner, feeling himself bump into another person. He stepped back immediately, taking out his earplugs and gazing at the girl he had just ran into. At least she hadn't fallen and hurt herself. "Ah, excuse me, miss. I didn't notice you," he said, although his voice lacked the apologetic tone one would expect in such a situation.

Thyla stumbled back a few steps, feeling someone bump into her. She turned to face him, but her sightless eyes saw nothing. She was surprised, obviously. Her face was a mask of confusion and annoyance. "I-it's alright." Thyla mumbled, close to silent over the city noises.

Zebulon blinked as the girl turned to face him. It wasn't the fact that she seemed confused and annoyed, or the fact that he had a hard time hearing her over the street noise. No, the thing that surprised him that she was a little off with her direction, not directly looking a him. "I'm sorry to just ask such a personal question, miss, but... do you happen to be blind?" he asked carefully, but with a calm and respectful voice.

Thyla didn't know how to respond. She shuffled her feet. All she could do was simply nod yes. The she turned around again, beginning to walk with the flow of people

Zebulon blinked as the girl started walking away from him before following after her.
"Hey, could you please wait a second? I'd like to ask a few more questions if you don't mind."

Thyla slowed down, finally stopping. She sighed, putting her hands behind her back,twining her fingers together.
"Alright. Fine." She said grumpily, but a bit louder this time. Thyla turned around, hoping it was the direction of the other dragon.

Zebulon sighed quietly, rather annoyed by the way the girl behaved. He was trying to be polite, yet she didn't seem to even try to return that at all. He chose to ignore it for now, instead taking a small step sideways so she would actually face him directly. "Well, I should probably introduce myself first. I'm Zebulon. As for my first question, have you been blind since you were born or...?"

Thyla shook her head. "No, I wasn't. I-it's a long story. I'm Thyla." She said, introducing herself. She leaned against the wall, beginning to smile as shade crept over her fur.
