Have you ever had a rat?: I have two female rats called Kitty and Saki I got from Petco, and, well, Kitty will be having babies soon. I didn't want her to be pregnant, she came to me like that. Saki is a tan self and Kitty is a black mismarked blazed.

^ awww that's the cutest picture ever
I have a question...So I might be getting two more female rats, I already have two they are just under a year old.
I would like to have all of them in the same cage. I was wondering if you guys have any tips on introducing rats to each other or ways to encourage them to get along with each other?

So, with Squeak and Jumper, I put them in seperate housing today... Maybe they needed a little time from eachther? I REALLY want her to have babies..
I draw origonal art of... Kiamara's and JBDs. I'm really good. I really want a fluffy, folded eared JBD. (: I draw art of her all of the time, just without markings.

If they were happy together, why separate them and then risk re-introducing them? Sorry but I think it seems a bit selfish. As much as you want them to have babies, their wellbeing and happiniess should come before that.
Not trading.

Kitty was fighting with Saki so I had to put Saki in a different cage. If Squeak and Jumper are doing fine then just keep an eye on them. Some rats will help raising babies even if they do not have their own litter.
Kitty was not gaining weight for a few days and now I am seeing spots of blood in her bedding. I think she absorbed half of the litter which masked the weight of the other half growing. Today she will have her litter or absorb them all.
