Ravyn Knightly "Sure I am glad you will and are not calling me your highness. Everyone else does and it drives me crazy. Oh is he? Why is he late?" She asked as the guards let him through. She rode up to him. "Hello." She would need to take him to see her parents and the horses looked tired so the stable hands should probably look after them.

The wagon stopped and the girls piled out. I tied my mask on and followed the girls through the gates. The palace was beautiful and elegant. I had seen it from far away but never this close. "Amazing..." I looked around at the trees and guards. Before I knew it I was lost. I must have wondered away from the group while I was distracted by the many elegant things. Footman walked by but ignored me. I sighed and looked around. I needed to find my group.

The guards let him through, passing back his invitation. Urging Little Bee on slowly, he nodded to the guards and his men followed him. In the courtyard, the princess stood waiting with another young woman beside her: her lady in waiting, perhaps? Dismounting gracefully, the Lord kept one hand on the reins of his horse and lead her over. Bending at the waist, he offered a low bow that held for a couple of seconds. "Your Grace," he greeted her, "Sir Charles Plantagnet. I am deeply sorry for arriving late. My carriage ran into difficulties and I had to arrive by horseback." He remembered, as a young boy, coming here. He must have been around five or six. His parents had come to court and they'd wanted to show off their two children, for his dear younger sister Anne had been around two.

Ravyn Knightly "Please don't." She said to him bowing. "That's okay, things happen. I believe you know lady Tera Sterling?" She asked dismounting herself. Looking up to Tera she sighed. "I think we will have to finish this ride later." Then turning back to Charles. "Can your men take the horses to the stables? Then I will take you to my paarents. They like to see everyone that comes." She looked at Mystic then at one of Charles's men. "If you are taking the horses to the stables could you take Mystic with you please? The stable hands will know what to do with her."

"I don't believe I do know Lady Sterling," he admitted. When she asked if his men could take their horses to the stables, his only reaction was to wave them away. They would see the horses settled in, fed and watered and then they would go to a nearby inn, no doubt, but they were not required any further. "They will take your horse too," one of his men leaned over to take hold of the horse's reins. Turning to look at the princess, he gave a surprising, but small, smile. "It is a long time since I came here. I believe it was actually a celebration of your birth. I can't remember much, but I do remember the sight of your wonderful palace." Anne would have been seventeen...

Ravyn Knightly "Really, well then I don't remember that do I?" She smiled as the man took Mystic's reins. "You can come if you want." She said to Tera, she might still want to ride but Ravyn had to take Charles to her parents. "You haven't missed anything just my parents welcoming and everyone else getting taken to their rooms." She said starting to walk towards the castle.

"Hmm, no, you wouldn't. I do believe that my parents were planning to come again when my younger sister was older but she caught a fever." He said as he walked not quite beside Ravyn: that would be improper. But at least he hadn't missed anything. He didn't have any items on his person either to weigh him down and make him look of lower class than he was. No, one of his men had it with them and they would deliver it later.

Ravyn Knightly "Oh, I hope she got better." She said hoping that she had and she wouldn't bring up an uncomfortable subject. The doorman opened the doors as they entered. She nodded in thanks to him as she led Charles up the main staircase. "Father should be in his office and I think mother is with him finalizing the ball." She said hoping that she was right. She hoped a lot of things but that was her.

Charles shook his head in response, not forming the words. Upon reaching the study door, the Lord inclined his head. "Thank you," he said slowly. There was a guard at the door. He opened it for Charles and bowed him inside, presenting his name. Entering, he sunk into a low bow for the king and queen.
